I came here to say exactly this. I almost feel sorry for people who weren't around to see MJ play. I'd never seen anyone like MJ before NOR since. Dr. J's game had a lot of the same creativity (and he was definitely an inspiration), but MJ was just on another level. Kobe came close, but even he wasn't quite MJ because he didn't have MJ's enormous hands that allowed him to control the ball in an otherwordly fashion. MJ was an artist out there on the court, truly "one of a kind". When another MJ finally shows up, there will be no need for media shills to try to convince us. We'll know when we're seeing a player that special. Neither AntMan nor LeBron are anywhere close to being "That Guy".

I've been watching basketball for 51 years, and I respectfully disagree. After I saw Dr. J for the first time, everything after that was just a pale imitation. George Gervin was similar. That's not a knock on Jordan, it's just that my generation couldn't see what the big deal was. What we admired was how his midrange jumper was money, that he played perimeter defense like a beast, and that his game was constantly improving and evolving, especially the mental game. I enjoyed him the second time around because he was starting to slip a bit, and still found a way to win. I even liked his time with Washington.

Over 1 bpg for a perimeter player is crazy. It's like the inflated stats future pros get in high school where you know at the next level they'll even out to 'decent' numbers. Then, when they're pros, they either average a career triple-single off the bench or get numbers similar to their college production overseas.

I like AntMan, but the form of Jordan he is closest too is the 2001 version of Jordan before he tour his meniscus injury. Just being honest because here are the facts ] In the 46 games that Jordan played before the injury, he averaged per game 25.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.5 blocks on 42% shooting. Jordan's numbers were also improving as the season went on, as in his last 20 games up to the injury he averaged per game 27.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.5 blocks on 44% shooting, and in his last 10 games up to the injury he averaged per game 29.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.3 blocks on 47% shooting.[54] Before the injury, Jordan was considered an MVP contender at the age of 38 for what could have been a record-tying 6th MVP award! People just don't understand no one is ever coming close to MJ! Also Jordan had 8 40 points games on the wizards twice after the age of 40 and 1 50 point game with the wizards!

To Minnesota fans, DO NOT OVERLOOK DALLAS. If Dallas can kill a U.S. President, they can kill some wolves! Just because you took out the defending champions doesn’t mean automatic berth to the Finals. Luka and Kyrie are still very dangerous. Perhaps better than Ant + KAT. Luka and Kyrie are very dynamic scorers. If Minnesota loses to Dallas, I lose my bets. Oh, well. I kinda expect it knowing my bad luck. Derby parlay Mystic Dan wins Derby ✅ Celtics wins East TWolves wins West Preakness parlay Seize the Grey wins Preakness ✅ Celtics wins East TWolves wins West I will likely bet a Belmont winner parlay with the NBA Finals winner. Turn that into another $100 winner to collect $300. Celtics and TWolves still needs to take care of business in these conference finals. They’re not in the clear just yet. If Dallas upsets Minnesota, then I got Celtics over Mavs in 6. Celtics will avenge what Kyrie did to them by stepping on Lucky after Kyrie ditched Boston for Brooklyn. Luka vs. Ant is about as close to having LeBron vs. MJ for a playoff series. We already know Nick Wrong will pick Dallas. He wants his Slovenian LeBron to beat Jordan. And this is years after clowning on mini Kobe named Kyrie. Kobe is who Kyrie idolized when he grew up. Kyrie crossing his GOAT/“MJ” for 90s babies… kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2qwl4SBo9t4oc0si=pVfaAjlVsc3bQoLH In the end, I expect MICHAEL JORDAN to prevail over 🇸🇮 LeBron James and mini Kobe Bryant in a playoff series. I will never bet against Michael Jordan. He will always be THE G.O.A.T. His long lost son, Ant, is next in line. Season They Won Their First Ring S1: Magic Johnson, won Finals MVP S3: Kawhi Leonard, won Finals MVP S4: Dwyane Wade, won Finals MVP S4: Kobe Bryant S7: Michael Jordan, won Finals MVP Age They Won Their First Ring 20: Magic Johnson 21: Kobe Bryant 22: Kawhi Leonard 24: Dwyane Wade 28: Michael Jordan Anthony Edwards is in S4 at age 22. Paul Pierce and Skip Bayless are predicting it will be Dallas over Minnesota in 6. Skip picked Lakers over Denver in 6. They both picked Denver over Minnesota in 7. Now they’re acting like they will finally be correct with their WCF prediction. 😂 My pick: Minnesota over Dallas in 6. But Minnesota must not underestimate Dallas as they have two nuclear weapons in Luka and Kyrie and only Ant can consistently go nuclear from the Wolves. Young MJ/DWade vs. Slovenian LeBron and mini Kobe. Media be talking about Bronny. Who cares? Give me MJ’s illegitimate son named Anthony Edwards. Did you see that short clip between Ant vs. Jimmy Butler? It’s MJ’s sons going at it! But Ant does this poster dunk that had Jimmy going WHOA on the bench. Ant is HIM, folks. And he wants that smoke. He’s ready to defend Kyrie. Blames himself if they lose and praises his teammates if they win. He’s the next face of the NBA for the rest of this decade and next. And Ant is not a frontrunner. He talks shit whether he’s from behind or if he’s winning. Same exact energy. He’s talking shit even when Denver went up 3-2. As great as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James were and still are, they were not this obnoxious and cocky as Ant at age 22. And Ant generally backs it up. He said to people, “I’ll see y’all MFers for Game 7.” This was after a loss. He will back up his claims. TWolves have this attitude that they’re coming for everyone and they have a chip on their shoulder. This is not some Ja *poser* shit talk. Ant is no frontrunner. I see a lot of Ali, Prime Time, and Iverson when Ant speaks. Maybe toss in some Bird and MJ. Ant is all “F you-F you” with both middle fingers raised at everyone. And he’s too young or wild to understand the traditional results. He’s changing the paradigm that a team needs to keep losing first. He’s like young Mike TYSON. Too wild and confident to understand the status quo and that he can be a world champion in his early 20s.

So true. Ant has a fantastic team, even his bench is great. They as a whole have the best defense. When you have the best defense, winning games are much easier. Omg can you imagine 88 or 89 Jordan on this wolves team in today's nba 😂 he'd average 50 a game through all the playoffs and would sweep everyone... All the Jordan stats from that video also don't even take into fact that the NBA just didn't shoot the 3 ball like today. Omg it would've been nasty for MJ in today's game. They'd have to make rules to stop him... Oh wait they did that in the toughest era because they still couldn't stop him in that era

Even with those outstanding individual stats in 1988 MJ didn't win shit as far as his team. The NBA is a team sport and that's what defines Champions. They always promote MJ's individual greatness in all of his years but they minimize the Bulls as a team losing for 6 consecutive years with MJ and his individual greatness. They don't even mention the fact that the Pistons had gone to four straight Eastern Conference Finals and three straight NBA Finals before losing to MJ and the Bulls in their fifth straight Eastern Conference Finals series. MJ never won a playoff series against Larry Bird and he only beat Isaiah Thomas once in a playoff series. I'm just grateful I was able to witness it all.
