Have you ever done a video on how Kobe is actually a great passer and got a bad rap from the media? Many of his great highlights are of him throwing crazy dimes to his teammates. From 1999 until 2011 he led his team in assists 10 of those 12 years as the main scoring option.. Meanwhile, Lebron at the age of 38 is still playing with a prime AD with an excellent supporting cast. Comparing Lebron and Kobe stats is dumb as well. When Kobe played, only a handful of players (pretty much all superstars) averaged 20+ points. Nowadays, you have role players averaging that many points with a bunch of people averaging 30+. Finally, a lot of Kobe fans are now in their 30s with families and are less active on social media than a bunch of these teenage Bron fans who never saw Kobe play. Why is it so difficult to admit that Kobe was great but he doesn't belong in TOP 10. JUST LOOK AT HIS STATS at the finals for christ sake. Look at his FG and compare it to even guys like Dwayne Wade, not to mention comparing him to Jordan or Lebron. He isn't even better than Wade in the finals. Most overrated guy in basketball history mainly due to his tragic death. Kobe Bryant literally had less than 40 % shooting in 17 of his Final Games. That ALMOST EVERY SECOND GAME of the games he played. For comparison, Dwane Wade shot less than 40 % 9 times which is 30 % of his games in the finals. How can you possibly say that Kobe Bryant is the second greatest player ever...it is just INSANE!!!

I agree, Kobe is without a doubt an all time great but he isn't top ten all time. I love that you brought up Wade, look at Wade's best seasons compared to Kobe's and tell me who actually had the better seasons. Wade has seasons of 50% or better from the floor, Kobe has never done it ONCE in his entire career. Kobe had the longer prime but that's because Wade's was cut short due to injury. I think Kobe might be the most overhyped and overrated player in NBA history. He only has 1 MVP and i know his fans cry and say he was robbed but when was he robbed? When he wasn't making the playoffs? When he was a 7th seed?

I get not having Kobe in your top 5, there is a group of maybe 5-6 guys that come after MJ that it's pretty much okay to put in nearly any order depending on preferences in play style and some people would put him down at that 7 spot maybe even 8. If I see someone put him lower than that though I will start to think some serious bias is getting involved that involves more than the actual quality of the players involved.

If 4-Chip LeBron's Longevity Stats carry enough weight to rank ahead of 5-Chip Kobe, Duncan & Magic, then Kobe's Longevity Stats also rank over Magic and Duncan. A number of haters don't count Kobe's 2005-06 Season MVP snub to rank 2 Season MVP-Duncan over him. Others count Magic's 3 Season MVPs and 3 Finals MVPs to rank over Kobe, but ignore that Magic was never an All-NBA Defender, had lower Longevity Stats, and had better teammates to reach 9 Finals. Even if you buy those arguments for ranking Magic and Duncan over Kobe, which I don't, any list ranking Kobe lower than 6th lacks credibility. And if Longevity Stats carry heavy weight in rankings, then 6-Chip Kareem is still #2.

@@Andrew-ms8md LeBron has kept himself healthier than Kobe and Duncan and became a Starter earlier. As a result, he produced better Career Stats from age 18-34 and continues racking up Stats at 38. LeBron deserves props for that, but Kareem also has Longevity Stats that are just as impressive.

@@soulofamerica my issue came when you said Kobe's longevity stats should rank over magic and Duncan even though Duncan played only 1 less season despite going to college for four years. I think we can all agree that Magic's longevity was impacted by extraordinary circumstances and Duncan promised his dying mother that he would get his degree before going to the league even though many had him as a top 5 pick after his freshman year and #1 after his sophomore. And frankly as far as 05-06, Kobe might have deserved it over Nash but LeBron deserved it over both in my opinion. A 21 year old LeBron averaged 31/7/7 on better efficiency and 4 less shots per game

Stats have been marginalized to exclude Kobe. They'll list game winners and create criteria to exclude him. Like the shot clock has to be zero. But everyone can remember numerous game winners without having to look it up, but there was probably .02 seconds on the clock. So when the tally the score they say Kobe only had 4 game winners his whole career. They diminish his legacy because it gets clicks and likes.

While I agree Kobe is top 10. A point that I think is never brought up when evaluating Kobes career is how bad Kobe was in the 2004 finals. Arguably the second worst performance ever by an all time great in the finals(2011 bron is 1st). I would put atleast 80% of fault for that series on Kobe. It was obvious he was gunning for finals MVP and the pistons played into that and it showed in the gentlemans sweep.

Kobe had a lot of very good role players or even all star players on his team when Shaq was no longer around. Shaq was the primary player during their 3 peat. Kobe is #11. Kobe did not have a long peak like the rest of the top 10 greatest players because Shaq was the main player who created space for the rest of the players on the team during Kobe's first half of his career.

If LeBron is better than Kobe, why did it take him 3 different teams to win 4 titles. Kobe didn't quit on his team. Kobe is a top 10 even a top 5 scorer. NBA Finals are not about LeBron. I honestly don't think LeBron will ever touch another title before 40 years of age. Great player but not the G.O.A.T. at least not over Jordan or Kobe. Just my opinion.

If Kobe was better than LeBron, the numbers would reflect it. The numbers aren't even close. LeBron is better at putting the ball in the basket. This is all that matters at the end of a basketball game. People who poo-poo the statistics and say there is more to basketball than the statistics tell us have a poor understanding of what "the statistics" effectively measure. Nobody is arguing that "the statistics" are everything; many people who understand statistics are trying to communicate that "the statistics" are a better measure of a player's comparative performance than the "eye test" or any other "subjective" measurement. Yes, qualitative measurements of analysis are valuable, but they must be supported and guided by "objective measures" of approaching the raw numbers as well as standardized methods of data analysis.

There was no player more feared in Kobes era than Kobe. He was the top of the mountain for any and every player at any level of basketball. How people think Lebron is better is beyond me. Players fear Lebrons athleticism. Players feared Kobes killer instinct. Those are two totally different types of fear psychologically. Just think about it..Imagine having to fear a legitimate threat of someone trying to destroy you. Often times specifically. Kobe would literally target and dissect players. That level of mental and emotional development is unprecedented. Lebron cannot be compared. He never cared about the game the same way. Kobe wanted to win more than Lebron and was willing to will his team to those wins himself if necessary. Lebrons mentality allows for his to pass the responsibility of a great unto others. That is not GOAT like behavior.
