The pressure is on LBJ because he hasn’t surpassed MJ yet, so his fan base are clinging to everything they can. What they fail to understand is that the gap between MJ and LBJ is huge, how big? Bigger than Durant’s career gap……

LBJ is almoust 40 yrs old, give him some slacks. I am the Denver guy, but can't expect from him 44 min of intense game against the best team in the league at the age of 39, he is falling as game progresses...

Nope, he brought it on himself. He wouldn't get any heat if he didn't say, " This one right here made me the greatest of all time" - while only having 3 chips and coming off a finals where Kyrie hit the biggest shot in LeBron's career and won the series.

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that in the 2011 NBA Finals Lebron got locked down by 5’10” Jose Juan Barea while simultaneously getting outscored & outplayed by bench-player Jason Terry. Lebron scored an anemic 8 points in Game 4, getting laughed out of the arena on his way to his second of SEVEN Finals losses, including getting swept 4-0 TWICE, pathetic yet true 🤣

No disrespect to Jokic but he didn’t actually expose anything; people who actually pay attention and don’t drink the Klutch Kool-Aid already knew what it was…
@alberteinstein95915 ай бұрын
That's the whole reason why 4th quater % is a dumb argument to evaluate clutch performance. If Lebron just vanishes and shies away from the spotlight his clutch FG% doesn't take a hit and he statistically stays "clutch".

Lebron has NEVER been a closer which is why he NEEDS superteams to win. Lebron doesn’t deserve any grace because he’s a victim of his own celebrity. He said that he’s the greatest to ever do it when we know and he knows he has not and will never be close to MJ. Let him get his issue. Jeannie please don’t resign this clown because the true fans of the NBA are tired.

Sports shows like first things first are so lame. He doesn’t really think lakers will win but if they do he will get to brag. It’s such bs. Skip bayless has been doing that for years

the point about how his fans putting unrealistic expectations on him and his team every year is what leads to him getting clowned is so true. Like as a nuggets fan all I heard last year was lakers in 6 and that we had no chance even though we were coming off beating the way tougher Phoenix Suns in the previous round. I trolled the shit out of all the lakers fans and lebron stans I knew after we swept him lmao, they talked so much talk and get swept lmfao

@@commonsense9908He definitely has a point. So many of his videos are about Lebron and going at the media who’s obviously going to talk about lebron for views, but uncut hoops is actually doing the same thing. As a viewer I’d much rather see interesting content instead of content that’s just going to complain about Lebron to boost an MJ narrative. You can like both, or even just like one and not care about the other so much to make your whole channel about him
@commonsense99085 ай бұрын
@@kiptanner9949 Complaining about what you are watching on KZbin seems silly. You literally choose what you watch and click on. To become emotional about it says alot about a person's mental state. I myself have never watched a James Charles video. Do you know why I haven't?
@kiptanner99495 ай бұрын
@@commonsense9908 I see what you mean but it’s a bit different here because the channel makes basketball content that I like when it’s not spamming lebron. You still have a good point regardless since I could just not watch and move on but imo channels like these that have an obvious narrative push on a single player and will find something to hate on no matter what happens is contributing to worse basketball discussion just like the media has been for forever
@commonsense99085 ай бұрын
@@kiptanner9949 I agree the basketball discussion is terrible. Your last statement iludes to the actual problem. Society is pushed a narrative through news,, sports,, teachers,, parents etc.. In response to that narrative humans will always create a counter culture to push back. The narrative in this case is lebron is the greatest ever and can do no wrong. The mainstream sports media has been pushing this for over 12 years. I remember half an hour segments on whether or not Lebron could be the GOAT if he NEVER wins a championship. People are truly sick of the gaslighting and lack of accountability. Therefore you will always run into this culture when consuming a product on a platform other than the mainstream. Unfortunately the reason there is no longer healthy conversation or debate around basketball can squarely be blamed on Mainstream media and Lebron himself.
