@thomasedavis
@thomasedavis 4 жыл бұрын
@@lusteraliaszero Because up until that point, the moves were the same as in a previous game. This is a new game and a unique game (meaning that no other game in the database has exactly the same moves from beginning to end), but this particular game is not completely new. Because there are a limited number of openings and an even more limited number of openings that a master would play, all of them have been played, so virtually every game will be unique but no game will be completely new.

@@lightningprowess6031 I've never claimed that I can reach 1800, what are you on about? And why do you care? If white plays qe3 check, I missed that black doesn't have to take the queen. He just simply moves the king. I understand that white shouldn't take the black queen to undouble the pawns, but he can go for the pawn on the queen side. In this case, I would say its a draw. Edit: I checked with an engine and its still a draw if white plays qe3 check and then takes the black queen next move. Its completely equal then. Of course its completely winning for white if black decides to trade queens after qe3. So it seems that you are wrong, my GM friend...

after white B4, Qg2 ch, Qf2, Qg5 why white did not play Qe3 ch and black have to exchange the queens and white wins after that, am i missing something?
@lucaskiller5653
@lucaskiller5653 5 жыл бұрын
I think Magnus won't capture the queen but move the king closer to the two pawns and if white captures the queen then black's pawns will undouble. I think Levon thought it would be too risky or it wouldn't make a difference because after both players bring a queen into the game then it would be the same.

@13:30 your mind may go like "bam!!", mine went, lord of magic's(Magnus) Qg8 is just... and till 13:45 the white king is just enjoying the game at the centre position like a "KING"

Can somebody tell me the difference between a blitz game and a rapid game? I’m new in the chess world. Thanks🙃
@colinpetersen1173
@colinpetersen1173 5 жыл бұрын
In FIDE tournaments Rapid means 15mins + 10seconds per move while Blitz is 3mins + 2seconds. More casually you might see Rapid and Blitz used to describe games with more starting minutes than the FIDE settings (I've seen Rapid as 20min or less and Blitz as 10 or less) but with no add-on per move (called an increment) because not everyone owns the fancy electronic clocks that can add the seconds per move.

In the Queen's pawn endgame when Magnus played qg5 wasnt qe3 winning for white as it's check and Magnus has to forcefully accept the queen exchange after which he is lost...?
@lightningprowess6031
@lightningprowess6031 5 жыл бұрын
Nope Magnus can easily move his king and bait Levon totrade queen If Levon trade thequee = it will help fix Magnus pawn structure And Levon in a very bad situation He need to move his king to the left side to prevent the pawn progress But if he do that = magnus can easily move to the left Based on tempo and position = magnus can easily win

rook d4 doesn't work if you exchange bishops first. It does work before bishops are exchanged though.

Maybe, but you don't ever need to win a game to raise your rating. All you need to do is tie people who are higher rated than you. I think you can become the highest rated player in the world just using this approach. How? You just work your way up to position #2 by tying the world champion often enough, then let the champ lose to the number 3 player a few times and you will be number one.

It is not a technical draw if it's a three fold repetition, it's a technical draw if it's a five fold repetition. After three, the player on the move can claim a draw, he doesn't have to.
