Thanks so much for subscribing for the hockey part of things! :) Most folks are the opposite and have to put up with my hockey rink videos between woodworking/renovation videos. I hope you are able to get to a hockey rink near you this winter to skate or watch some hockey. Merry Christmas to your family and take care over there in Iceland!

Looks awesome! Looking forward to the full vid. Kinda jealous that it's really not feasible these days to make an outdoor rink in my part of Sweden... The temperature is usually fluctuates around freezing. :/
@DIYPETE11 ай бұрын
Thanks so much and great to hear from you! I wish it was colder over in Sweden to make outdoor rinks more of a thing. We actually haven't been able to pour here yet due to abnormally warm temperatures. Hopefully soon though. Have a great weekend!

Thanks! I haven't done skating only in the past, but did get some comments over the last year asking if I could. Are you wanting to basically see it in use more with skaters, hockey players, etc? I'll see about getting some new footage of that once we start skating, I agree that would be some fun and unique content to share. Cheers!

what is current status - has the weather co-operated yet? Webcam we'd know in an instant. Northern BC first ever no outdoor ice oval in place by Jan 1, not even scraps of ice. Still just dirt.@@DIYPETE

@@register1430 Hello! We do have a 24/7 security camera but we do not broadcast it. However, we did a bunch of Instagram stories last week showing us skating on it and there is a photo of it about 2 weeks ago. We've been skating just about everyday and have luckily had lows in the teens and highs in the low 30's so morning and evening skating has been great. The next couple weeks our highs are much colder so skating will be good all day. I wish northern BC was having better weather... A different winter for sure!
