The RTR kit is like quick all day ripping for like 1/4 the price of the race kit after all is said n done. The kit is def the way to go if you have time, patience, n plenty of cash. Ohh yea and "man" that 5T is the Fukin amaculate.

The rtr truggy is based off of the 3.0. They usually come out with the rtr of the previous model when the newer one comes out. I've built two 8ight e 4.0 buggies and watching your videos I really want to build the 4.0 nitro truggy. Nitro is still kinda intimidating

another Losi..there was a RTR package before..Red/Black/white ..with a bump box and a Spektrum radio with telemetry. Losi discontinued that RTR..there are videos of it even Horizon made a video.. this is nice truggy..you have a lot of Losis' what you do with the others not Losi? i like this set up easy to upgrade.. thanks for video Bro..

Roy Mariano yes that was with the Gas .31 motor that ran with a CDI box. Nitro is way better then that but that was very cool to try something new like that!!!👍 Those are going to be worth big money someday so if you find one grab it and store it away.

Hey Botajell That .28 Dynamite isn't that bad the way you talk about it like it's a piece of shit that's what true you said it right when you said it was a Workhorse that is true it's a Workhorse it's a damn good quality motor for an RTR

Aaron Chico it's not a good quality at all of motor but it is a great engine for a RTR when you use the back plate on it and get 4.0 engine mounts on it to bump box start it. It will be ok for a bit but they will fail sooner then later! I have seen many fail already but that's no big deal because you can always get a good quality and low cost Stock Novarossi 28-8 and that will be truly good and way better for newbies especially since it's a great platform based Of of the 3.0 ! I'm speaking on long term with less headaches so the fun lasts longer so it will keep nitro heads from not going E word on us!

I got one and the battery that came with it, 1600mah 6v Dynamite was trash. Called product support and they didnt have it in stock. So still waiting on them. But the vehicle it self is very powerfull and agile. Lots of torque. 7/10 overall.

Have you tried sticking a piece silicon hose up the end of you glow plug spanner. That way the plug comes out with the spanner. if it does not stay in then slide the silicon hose inside piece of 5mm pumping hose. never lost a glow plug yet. hope that helps.

Alfie Bailey yes I have and I may even try out there models like there Truggies? I'm just having really good results right now with my TLR 4.0 8T and 8B. I also thought about trying out a Tekno Nitro Truggy as well. Now about that motor,,, well it's not for me but it could work out for a newbie or someone that's starting out in the hobby. Both guys that Mod my Nitro Engines tell me that these OFNA/Hong or or Hybao engines will fall apart if they Mod them. They tell me that we need to use better quality engines for best results and long term use!

BOTAJELL ah thank you very much for the reply I would recommend a hong nor x2e but sadly it's an e-word POS ! I haven't seen many videos on hong nor though I wonder why , the seem pretty sturdy. If you want a starter box for your friends buggy ( if it is a hyper 7 )try a fastrax universal starter box. The spektrum DX5C and DX5R are two I’ve considered. The active vehicle control is something I have to have for my Nitro Rustler. Telemetry would be awesome too. Thanks.

I say go with what ever your comfortable with. I still have my Spectrum DX3 and use it from time to time. I like Futaba and have had great luck with the 4PLS and now I have the 7PX and many of my friends have the 4PX and like it. To be honest I even love my FLYSKY I’m not going to lie I really do . What kit are you talking about ? The 4.0 Race Kit or the RTR LOSI 8ight T?

It's cheap, and I can have vehicle stability too for around 130 bucks w/ receiver. Any tips for the kit build? I've only watched your video about 82 times haha. OK my fuel brother I just purchased TWO Losi 8ight T and B NITRO's we are going to get away from the E words buggies and yes they are RTR's but it is the beginning or going to be a NEW LEARNING curve for us. Yeah right now I am some what nervous about getting into nitro and yeah we also have coming in 30-11 nitro fuel and shut down oil, but I do have a small question how long does the nitro fuel shelve life, and these are fully up-gradable and we are still into 5th scale .

I was out running my rtr this past weekend and i bagged the shit out of it i couldn't kill the motor its a real tough motor i probably ran about six tanks back to back in it and wide open most of the time it held up very well i am very surprised with this rtr. Out of curiosity what motor do you recommend upgrading to because this motor is tough but it is not fast at all.

Cory Bekkers bro 6 tanks back to back is nothing lol! I'm glad you like it that's awesome! You can tune well from what I hear that cool . I run sometimes 10 or 12 tanks back to back and I always out run E words at Bash events and at parks! I'm out there having fun way longer times then those guys with E words. I recommend a Modified TNS motor like a .32 or a 28-8 or a .25 or a .21 Bonito!! If you can only do stock motor for now and Not modified ? I would say throw a LRP X series.32 or .30, or a NOVAROSSI.28-8 or a PICCO Boost.28 , or a Novarossi.25 Roma or if you like .21s? The Bonito is great and the Elite 8 but they will use different gearing and pipe combinations then the bigger motors !! Let me know with one you get and I will help you with clutch set ups and pipe and header set ups . They are all different

Thanks man ill definitely go modified they are worth the extra money plus i plan on putting a lot of after market parts into this and racing it next year so ill definitely need some info and guidance from you this is my first eight t so i am very new to the platform so far its awesome. And e words can never keep up to nitros there batteries die after 30 min we just add fuel and keep ripping or they catch fire i made the mistake on buying one electric 5 years ago i sold it after a month and used the money to buy a used hpi baja... Nitro for life.

I tried 30% at first no dice ,so I broke in with 20% v6 basher , smokes like sin ,,fuel jumping out pipe ,I run 2 tanks at idle ,,3rd kinda run slow up rd and circles ,,can I go to 30% nitro now ? It’s 30% WERKS racing looks like water no dye color at all

S. Garcia you can mark the Flywheel wherever you want just so that you know where is Piston ( BDC ) Bottom Dead Center. I always store my engines at PDC since ( 1992 )!. 1989 , 1990, and 1991 I did not ever do this . It helps to do this ! It’s like second nature to me like I don’t even think twice and no need to remember and double check because I always set my Piston BDC after every run.

Sgt SimplyCrispy your better of just getting the 4.0 kit! The Chassis is different, Shock towers , how the motor is mounted, the 4.0 also has axles like a real car cvds with packed grease, shocks different! There's many things so keep the RTR more on the 3.0 side and do a 4.0 when you feel like getting something new and different because the 4.0 feels different on ground and in the air ✈️🚀
