@@TheWelchProductions bro why you so negative, like I get people have different opinions but half of this comment section is just you saying the movie is boring. Like if it’s so boring why are you wasting your limited time being negative towards people who enjoy the boring movie?

@@felixfilms2419 I just shared my opinion in response to someone else's. I was optimistic the film would lead somewhere interesting or impressive but was left disappointed by the reveal and the way it ended, which isn't too surprising, since I reacted similarly to the director's previous film.

Only hipster L.A douchebags think yhis thing is a masterpeice . A good but all over the place film that coulnt decide wtf it wanted to be. But very much a noce journey and a cult classic thts against the ideas of cults. I do appreciate how it makes fun of all the superficial fake cespool bs that is the Hollywood elite or those wanna be. Pop stars and. Actors.

I was pleasantly surprised that the signs actually lead to something instead of having one of those 'subversive' endings where the main character had made it all up in his head... BUT the reveal itself was so anticlimactic.
@mhd14424 жыл бұрын
I agree but what do you mean by anticlimatic ?
@ski73014 жыл бұрын
The movie isn’t anticlimactic, you were just looking at the wrong things.
@TheWelchProductions4 жыл бұрын
@@ski7301 There’s no wrong way to look at something. The ending is anticlimactic because the mystery builds up a lot of suspense and time, so when the payoff finally arrives and offers nothing stimulating in return, it is naturally disappointing.

@@TheWelchProductions furthermore the dog killer mystery is ambiguous and not conclusive. And so is the parrot. You are right. It kinda leads nowhere and it is anticlimatic
@daniel57308 ай бұрын
@@ungloriusbastards4955 But that was the point, kind off? Main character builds a borderline schizophrenic narrative, he looks for something big like it's going to change something. In the end even when truth turned out to be even more bizarre than his theories it didn't make any difference, the whole time he was a fucked up guy using the conspiracy theories and procrastination to cope. I don't know if I'm just pretentious but it made the movie more memorable for me, like the horror movies that don't show a monster and end ambiguously - leaves a lingering feeling.
