Sorry for the (really) late reply! I honestly forget to check comments after posting videos. I'm guessing that you're not still wondering Glenn, but for future watchers/readers, we have an article that details average cost of our installs: www.rainbrothers.com/post/how-much-does-a-rain-cistern-system-cost . This one was installed a number of years ago, but, with indoor filtration, I believe it was around $16k. But pricing goes up every year and the article that I referenced here accounts for price increases and is current every year. Thanks for watching

I did not see any turn out valves on the downspouts. The roof needs to be "washed off" with each rain so the bird poop and any other particulates you wouldn't want in drinking water with drain out into the yard. Only after the roof is clean should the valve be turned to drain into the cistern. Sometimes it doesn't rain enough to get water after the roof is clean. I grew up with cistern water and there is no way I would accept that setup for getting water into a cistern.

Well, my production team must've called in sick this day ;) Yeah, I'm not a cameraman by trade... I just wanted to take advantage of the rare moment when everything was opened up and exposed at the same time (usually things are backfilled as we go so the whole system is not visible), so I seized the moment with my phone. I'll try not to cry myself to sleep tonight for the downvote (haha). Thanks for watching anyway
