If you're tired of having your table saw struggle to complete cuts through hard woods, or seeing burn marks on your wood after a cut, perhaps it's time to switch blades!
A thin kerf blade will take less wood, make less dust and generally allows your saw an easier time getting through hard stock!
I use my DeWalt 745 table saw to show the difference between a cheap blade carrying out simple crosscuts and rips and then put on two dedicated CMT cross-cut and ripping blades. The difference is amazing!
The CMT blade made the rip cut in less than 25% of the time with the new blade! (only 24 seconds compared to 107 seconds with the cheap blade!)
The cross cut came out with almost zero burn marks. Awesome.
Overall I'm very happy with the blades after these initial cuts and will follow up in a few months after they've been used more.

I just ordered some 4" blade dampener/stiffeners for my jobsite saw that I use thin kerf blades with. They're supposed to make all the difference in noise, wobble, and vibration. People swear by them. Pretty cheap too. Check them out.

Hello there, did you find any issue with the blades being too thin? I recently got a skinnier blades and it didn't fit my saw, I'll need a washer or something to make it work I think.

As long as it fits your arbor size, simply tightening the arbor nut down will secure it - no need for washers.

Nope, no interference with the riving knife at all. Has been a great switch for the performance of my table saw on hardwoods.
