Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is one of the best games on PS3, i still cant believe it wasn’t a hit. Hopefully it’s getting the attention it deserves now due to videos like this. It really deserves it.

Enslaved is my favorite game from the PS3 era. I don't think it's the best game of that era but by god did it stick with me for all those years. As soon as I saw the box art I just felt that this game will be special to me. Always a pleasure to see someone sing it praises.^^

Same here man, I’m a massive fan of all involved, Serkis, Garland and Sawney. Bit of a random collab tbh but one that massively paid off imo 👍🏼

@@thepolygondon9198 I agree about the collab being random but as you say, if it works just go with it. Since we're on the topic of Enslaved, have you also tried out the DLC "Pigsy's Perfect Ten"? It's different gameplay mechanics from the main campaign but they also work. I personally always find it great when a DLC actually add something new to the core game rather than just being some chapters that should be in the main game to begin with sold as DLC *cough*Asura's Wrath*cough*

Enslaved is a great game - worth mentioning a great bit of dlc, where you play as Pigsy, a character from the game. Much slower paced with a bit more strategy involved, and a lovely, sad standalone story. Recommended!

@@thepolygondon9198 well worth a look, it has the same feel as the main game, but controlling Pigsy is very different to Monkey. Odd bit of trivia - Pigsy is voiced by Richard Riding, who plays Daddy Pig in Peppa Pig!

just got my PS3 back up and set up recently and found your channel and boy howdy do ya show off some great rootin tootin dang darn video gamers out there that I really ought get me grippers on! Being reminded of Alice: Madness Returns and Driver San Fransokyo is a godsend!! Those have been on my radar for lord knows how long!!! Wish Midnight Club Los Angelas was still on the store tho💀 glad Portal 2 is tho!!!

I had completely forgotten about driver San Francisco so I looked it up on physical editions for both PS3 and Xbox 360 are 75 or 80 i At the cheapest

I was excited buying Enslaved, I didn't test within 10 days, my fault. But the store should of also checked it for scratches, they obviously didn't. I'm trying to clean it with tooth paste, hope for the best.

Not sure where you live but if you have one of those big game trade in stores near you, they usually have a disc cleaning machine. I’m sure if you offered a bit of money to use it they’d probably allow it. Might be worth a shot anyway before buying another copy. It’s worth it either way as that game is great 👌🏼

I won't recommend Enslaved, not on PS3. It's good, expecially for the acting performances and the music, but runs like crap on PS3. I can take bad frame rate (like Red Dead Redemption or inFamous 1) but with screen tearing too it gives me the impression of a corrupted file. Play it anywhere else. Another motivation: the DLC. It's been delisted and never came back in Europe, only in USA store. So you have to spend 20 dollars on the digital North American Premium edition in order to play the DLC, which isn't included in any retail copy. It's still a great game, the only issue in my opinion is the ending, it just left me with a "That's all?" face

Yeah the screen tearing is bad at times, same with Asura’s Wrath, I think I just enjoyed my time with them both so much I looked past the technical problems. I never played the DLC for Enslaved but I heard good things about it. I’m just hoping it gets remastered or even remade at some point and hopefully they bundle everything together 🤞🏼
