On IL-6, I believe you get a transient increase in IL-6 wth each bout of exercise. So maybe assuring B12 levels are good (whatever that lelevl is) along with exercice is one way to slow the aging program a bit. Besides, exercise modulates a number of pathways for better health. A recent paper (long term cyclists) also showed that the Thymus, and hence immune function, is maintained by long term vigorous exercise.
