Understanding Custom Fit - Does it matter about the Length of the shaft?

Luther, can you do a video on shaft angle at set up!? Where does it point for each club, having shaft lean etc.. is something I am confused about!? Thanks

Hi Gerard, thank-you for your question. Essentially it’s a spectrum of choice - Driver shaft is perpendicular and 90 degree to the ball/target line. A 6-iron leans a little so the butt of the club is over and above the ball. A Wedge leans forward the most - the butt of the club just past the ball. So you can see that shaft lean is intrinsically linked to ball position. We need to play the Driver opp Left Heel. 6-iron opposite left-centre and finally Wedge dead centre - the “Progressive Ball Position. I hope that helps - kind regards, Luther
