Thanks to Lesics Team, amazing materials,animations It was breath-taking by all means. This is where Dijksta's algorithm differs from A* , routers have to discover their surroundings to be less error prone. In addition to routing table; there're also extra routing tables for doomsday, just in case it's simply removing surrounding nodes one by one , later on building extra tables and store it.

Are the routers owned by ISPs? How is traffic between different ISP's routers handled?
@shis105 жыл бұрын
Right question .
@maverickmaker5 жыл бұрын
The routers are owned my the ISP's and the backbone providers. They use a different protocol called BGP, OSPF is mostly be relegated to business networks.
@ManosTheSurvivor5 жыл бұрын
This is only true inside an Autonomous System. In routing between two autonomous systems, we primarily use BGP protocols, classified as path vector algorithm, opposing to link state. Other than that, good video to gain an idea in routing!

The Dijkstra's SP Algorithm demo is the good part of this vide, never elsewhere being so clearly explained, 2:13, though the other key element of OSPF, using a DR on multiple-access links to reduce LSA flooding, may need to be further understood.
