This is an absolutely amazing video! As someone diagnosed with schizophrenia and having found effective treatment, it’s so great to see the neurological underpinnings of at one point seemed like an insurmountable problem

Hello, my name is Fatima Fisher and I am a psychology student at the Universidad Anáhuac México. I just wanted to tell you that you helped me save the semester haha. Thank you for making these types of videos explaining the biological processes in a more graphic way.

Hello thank you for your explanation, may I ask you questions? I still get confused how the dopamine increasing to mesolimbic pathway and causing positive symptoms but at the same time dopamine decreasing to mesocortical and cause negative symptoms?

Have a listen to this video - the mesolimbic system mediates a different set of functions - perception, arousal, interoception. The mesocortical -cognition, activity and reward - hence a different expression kzbin.info/www/bejne/pV6lZaOkhtyWldUsi=zP9EBYKKB6_kHZo4

4:13 I think you have exchanged the letters from the graphic. You kept Stahl´s order, but exchanged the letters when naming the pathways
