EPIC Answer. This lecture must be seen by everyone in Muslim Ummah. Extremely balanced. And yes, we must never ridicule or make fun of the other group. May Allah SWT bless Dr. YQ and give him long long life and greater wisdom. Ameen

I love the way sheikh Yasir Qadhi talks about the prophet peace be upon him he makes us realise that when it came to religious matters he never erred but in matters of dunya he occasionally made mistakes in other words he is human. This teaches us that we shouldn't ever exaggerate or sugarcoat.

I don't speak Urdu but I appreciate that he uses some Urdu words. It signals to everyone that our community is diverse, we have all contributed to Islamic history in various ways, and everyone should feel included. Too often our Arab imams are unaware of contributions outside of the Arab world and make very little attempts to create an inclusive space.

Whatever controversy happend about the sheikhs comments on Ya'juj and Ma'juj I think end up making him even a better speaker/shiekh. This video is clear example. He put lots of consideration not to upset or confuse people who prefers different view or make it less important. This was brilliant and very well balanced. I love the Sheikh but his some of previous videos were little brushed with wide stroke on opinion that he didn't supported. Anyway for strong Muslim and believer, everything has positive out come. Jazakallah

Salam. With due respect, Syeikh Yasir Qadhi has always been a great speaker and a very knowledgeable scholar. He always has strong foundation in his opinion. That's why I always look up to him before turning to other scholars.

@@oceanflyer7078 I updated the comment and added the word "even" better speaker. If that makes any difference for you. Basically he is bit more careful about his audience. And he should since he has large audience.

Due to this I now listen to him more. I dislike this idea that someone is secretly trying to change deen then he clearly supports his view and the ones that tried to drag him through the mud never apologized as if he didn't clarify.

There was no microbiology lesson during the time of the Prophet. It is not to say that we are more knowledgeable than Prophet, nauzubillah if we ever think about that. But God now has given us the knowledge of microbiology, so we have to use the best of this God's gift.

It's moot if most of the prophetic medicine/homeopathy is wrong acc. to modern knowledge. Nabi s.a.w. was still a man of his time and the 'ulema say his infallibility is limited to religious matters not worldly matters e.g. Munajjid says this. wallahu 'alim

Interesting lecture. But i fully disagree with camel milk and urine not being the best medicine for certain ailments. I have practised and studied contemporary medicine for over 20 yrs now and compared results of many treatments on patients. The prophetically approved medicines of that time STILL are the Best medicines out of all, completely curing the disease in a way no other medicine does. People who dont understand the basics of disease and medicine frankly do not have an educated basis to compare this analysis and I will respectfully disagree with sheikh's opinions here. they dont seem fully researched. When people don't know that there is a specific way to use these things, thats where the problem arises. For instance, it was prescribed to mix only a bit of fresh urine (a lot of expert say baby camel urine) with camel milk and to use it mixed, straight freshly sourced, but ,when some time has passed, is when bacteria spreads and it is not to be consumed like this. these items used without this precaution is when trouble has arised in people. otherwise this effectively cures many chronic liver ,kidney and intestinal diseases that science till today hasnt been able to even contain. kidney failure is completely reversed with this in many cases, with several other precautions and medicines and the use of fresh camel milk and a bit of fresh camel urine.

How have you practiced medicine for 20 years but don’t seem to know what a blind study is?
@user-vq3nz5zt5k2 жыл бұрын
But it’s a mix message and not clear at all. Dr Yasir mixed the opinion of Ibn Khaldun with Waliullah, this exactly what happens when you quote secondary sources. Kindly YQ read Ibn K and Hujjah yourself. Ibn K said, prophetic medicine is not a Wahi whereas Waliullah saying, it’s not something he was commanded to convey therefore it’s not a Shari requirement for everyone in every era to follow. One thing shah Waliullah make it clear is this, the prophet can’t give a statement which will be medically wrong or just wrong and not get corrected. Sometimes he corrected himself sometimes God corrected him. The examples you quoted from your secondary sources proves that he made mistakes and later corrected. 💭
