Thanks a lot. I am going to start working as an SQE. I would like to know from you more differences between the roles of the SQE and the purchasing guys. do we work together? complete the work of each other? or they are separate work?

Dear Ahmed, I wish you all success in your new position! I cannot tell you how it is in your company as I dont know it, however, SQEs and purchasers normally want to always source the best suitable suppliers in terms of cost, quality and competence. The SQE has often the technical responsibility (production capability, delivery reliability, technical problem solving, ...) while the purchasers have the commercial responsibility (contracts, overall cost, sourcing strategy, ...), but the overall target is the same, serving the purpose of the company. I hope this is helpful for you.
