Flowey was always Asriel, he was a little kid trying to 100% his favorite video game and getting mad at the new NPC who keeps beating him

the part where papyrus accomplishes his dream of driving a car, with the sun on his “skin” and his hair flowing through the air, it just made me so uncontrollably happy. then sans being sans and coming in with a tricycle on the highway just made me laugh so much. this was a very goodcredits sequence to a very good game. i shed tears of joy the first time i saw this after beating the game, and i still do. this game had so much love and care put into it from the creators. so much personality into the characters and the game, sprites,world,story and everything. it’s a master piece. 99999999999*99999999999+999999999(999999999999999*9999999999999) / 10 absolutely stellar masterpiece

Partly the reason why I play through Genocide and reset before entering the throne room then doing Pacifist besides it being a more satisfying ending. I like to think of it as Sans after seeing that you reset before you finish the run where you kill everyone and destroy the world via his timeline research thanking you for making the right choice

It is an arpeggio, but it is NOT Gaster's theme, it's just Bb F Bb F up and down which is just a 7 semitones up, 5 semitones up, 5 semitones down, 7semitones down, likely outlining the root and the fifth of the key. Gaster's theme is (adjusting for key) Bb B F# B, which is a semitone up, 7 semitones up 7 semitones down, and 1 semitone down, accenting both the Minor second up (Bb to B) and a Minor 6th instead of a Perfect fifth (F# instead of F).
