COME ON! YEAH! ASGORE IS STRONGER THAN YOU! This is the character that the melody is perfect for! Asgore is a rather tragic character, as well as one of my favorites, not this Sans of yours. I don't understand why many people don't notice Asgore against the background of the skeleton... And that's why I'm surprised that I see his version stronger than you just now! Thanks for that dude!

This is genuinely great, I'm so glad Asgore's getting some attention by the community. He is, quite literally, THE strongest monster who doesn't use game knowledge or DT as a source for power, I'm surprised he isn't as popular as the other characters.

@nellguy4828 in fairness, I see alot of people disregard Asgore destroying the mercy button as a "metaphorical" thing, but then will turn right around and scream on about how Sans knows everything's a game since he throws bones through our buttons. Plus, he only really destroys is because he KNOWS we're stronger than him, and he doesn't believe he deserves mercy.

This song is a perfect show of the complex story and feelings of Asgore. It's perfect how calm and somewhat sad he sounds. He knows what he's doing is wrong, but he's doing what he thinks is best for his people.

despite what everyone says i really LIKED how the vocals were quiet, Asgore isn't a raging king, not anymore by the time of when Frisk falls down in the slightest. he's VERY calm and collected and even rivals SANS' level of plain patience. and the certain vocals sounding more angry or fed up actually fit PERFECTLY for the volume change! like at 1:56 it fits perfectly how you snarl your voice and get louder! Asgore at this rate has already sung about everything calm and tried to stay kind and make it quick, but now that the human is lasting this long he starts venting about the burden he feels i feel like 2:09 has a bit of a long pause but the good DEFINITELY outweighs the bad on this song. similar to Undertale itself this cover features Asgore as he is in the main battle, calm and serious. but i'm already hyped for a GENOCIDE cover of an Asgore song, i already can imagine the serious and yelling, raging vengeful voice that he would bring. keep doin' what'cha doin' man! it's incredible!!

@@kewkou there is a route where you DO get to date alphys after flowey tells you to go to undyne so she can give you the letter, u give the letter, u date her, etc etc, BUTT instead of going to the true lab you go to asgore instead, you win and flowey will ask u why u didn't go to the lab but still let you leave the underground, and u get ur rare ending

It’s honestly just hilarious how a skeletons with no lore are more famous than first: king of the monsters, second: has actual lore, third: a better character in general. While sans is a lazy skeleton, popped outa thin air so as papyrus, he’s just an interesting character nothing cool, no one even fucking knows if MysteryMan is fucking Gaster, the skeletons just suck.
