How the hell does a band remain so consistently inspired and vital for such a long time? It's all in their creative process. Even when they get it wrong (a rare occurrence), they get it worng exactly right, if that makes any sense.

Ernesto Lombardo You beat me to it, I totally agree.

Hahaha. They even get wrong right. It's somehow very true. They can do what they bloody like in my eyes (and they often do). They've earnt it.
@Alan_Matu5 жыл бұрын
I've just taken delivery of the entire Drift project and I'd avoided listening to any of it before getting it completely, as I was listening through my thoughts were how do they manage to create so many tracks just in one year, and for them all just about to be different but relevant and new at the same time, whilst also being comfortably familiar and laced with some massive future classics. To do that after a career that's already spanned 25 years is amazing, after listening to the first five CD's in the set I couldn't say that there weren't any tracks that I didn't like.
@DodderingOldMan Жыл бұрын
Ha, I get what you mean, although I personally wouldn't use the word 'wrong'. I'd say that even with the small percentage of their tracks that I don't love, I still respect and admire their musicality. But yeah, for my money there is not group that has been so consistent over decades. I mean, I'm possibly biased, as I rate Underworld as easily... EASILY the greatest band of the modern era.

@Kyouko12695 жыл бұрын
@@michaelgoldstein8959 First of all, Brock Hampton isn't a person, it's BROCKHAMPTON, the name of a group. You obviously have some bias towards Rap, so your opinion is null. And yeah the point of STAR was to just reference as many celebrities as they could, it was the theme of the song. This song really does the exact same thing with clever raps and references focused on rhyming the names of Stars.

very interesting but the outro needs to be longer and work up into a trance. I feel like that would be the natural progression for Underworld, though perhaps they deliberately ended it sooner cuz they were sick of being typecast into doing the long groove thing and wanted to deliver a shorter song for once. This reminds me of something off Second Toughest or Beacoup Fish.
