Justice Ginnsburg understood that creating real change took hard work and commitment, working over a lifetime to grow and preserve women's rights and equality. She didn't make millions of dollars in her fight for justice and she didn't insult her country in the process. She was a patriot that believed in the country's capacity for growth and development when people were willing to do the hard work of leading reform. She did things the right way. Having been through the things that she had, how could should possibly have any respect for Kaepernick?

When the colonists were protesting “No Taxation Without Representation” or when they were willing to go to war because they didn’t want the enslaved emancipated (still the bloodiest war in American history), you know what they did? They put statues up of the leaders of the Confederacy. The Boston Tea Party is look at as a revered act of protest against THEIR government at the time, the monarchy in Britain. So, don’t tell people how they should protest.
