I don't think this is just a Caleb issue. The Bears failed to address the thing every QB needs to succeed, which is an o-line. Caleb is the most blitzed QB in the league, he's the most sacked QB, top 4 in hurries. Not sure many rookies are gonna play well under those circumstances. Yeah he's not looking as good as Daniels or Nix, but those guys also have better protection and they're in worse divisions overall. I know people was "justice for Fields". I get it, we all wanna have short memories, but Fields won a grand total of 1 game vs teams with a winning record last season. The rest of his wins were vs 8-win teams or worse. Fields also had a chance to wow the Steelers but even they decided to go with a MUCH older QB coming off a terrible season instead of Fields. They saw Fields is just not the guy you want. This season Caleb may have more losses than Fields last season, but he's actually had close calls vs VERY good teams like the Packers (lost by 1), Commanders (lost by 3), Vikings (lost by 3 in OT), and Lions (lost by 3). Idk, I think Caleb is doing fine and he's gonna get a lot better next season.

You have all the parts you want but if you don't a complete coaching staff that is competent and capable. I would think this team would have been better if they would have pulled the trigger on a new coach after last season. This is the team and GM that traded away Roquan Smith and Khalil Mack who is a absolute studs and defensive leaders on the field. This is a rudderless ship without a captain. You bring up those others and look at the coaches and organizations. This team needs to be sold and move on because this family is just interested in making money. They had the chance to bring in Ben Johnson or Jim Harbaugh and would not do so. They are cheap and looking to pay the least they can. We have nothing but a pattern of ruining QBs.

It doesn't matter who you bring in. It takes time for the rookie and any wide receivers to learn the new playbook and understand each together. Without adequate time on the field for both, they will continue to be on a different page on play callings. Firing Matt Eberflus was the right thing. Firing Shane Waldron might have been the worst thing the bears did especially when everybody's learning the new playbook. Before the Bears think about on how to win games, they should think about fixing the O-line first. That will solve a lot of the offensive woes.

Shady stop with the excuses. Now bo nix is more advanced mentally? Lol never would he have said that in the off-season. He just makes excuse after excuse because he was wrong. When I was Caleb i don't see the player he was in college playing all those weak teams and players. It's simple hes been bad this year. Yes his team and o line is trash but he's constantly missing open players, over throwing guys. I just don't see this great player he was gassed up to be.

Shady owes Justin Fields an apology 😆

Everyone saying Fields is better have never actually watched a Justin Fields game 😂

Caleb is more talented but Fields was a better fit especially if you factored in the haul they would’ve received from trading the #1 pick

Last year, an undrafted rookie came in when Justin Fields was hurt for 4 games and went 2 and 2, and all we hear is how he is no good. Tyson is just a game manager. When Caleb does bad, it's everyone else's fault. He is a rookie and needs to be developed. The Bears have the answer to win but they are more interested in the hype.

Why would anyone be surprised that the Bears are where they are? Chicago's got only two championships in the past 61 years. They won an NFL championship in 1963 and we all know about the 85 Bears. My point is that this franchise has been bad forever, and they've shown that they don't know what they're doing for decades, so why would anyone be surprised by the Bears being bad?

So because the bengals historically suck we shouldn’t be surprised when a team with burrow, Chase etc are bad?😂 you make 0 sense

Are you really omitting how 3 of those loses were purely out bad coaching decisions? Like how are we forgetting that? How many game winning drives did fields set us up for? Dude was a RB playing QB

You know what's going to happen, next year we still gonna be talking about the Chicago Sky.

I need shady to have the same energy he had for fields for Caleb

I’m not surprised at all This is what you get from rookie head coaches and rookie GMs in the same space. They fell into the hype-train narrative “we are the QB away”. O-line and D-line have been trash for better part of a decade and yet bears go skill guy after skill guy. This is the 2000’s lions

Shady so mad he never beat Belichick.

8:25 This entire mindset is the problem. 10:44 Yeah and we were losing close games because we had a rookie Qb. When he plays like a rookie we start firing people. Media hype killed this team. Eberflus wasnt a strong enough coach to pilot it. He bought in then started drilling into Caleb no turnovers. Then vets started bitchin about the rookie Qb cause stats.

An actual bears fan here. Live in chicago an all. Those. Especially these guys on this show. As well as those in the media. Overhyped him. Ryan poles deserves to be fired. We won 7 games last year. We may not win another game this year. Our o-line has never been good. So that “o-line” excuse is null n void. Our problem is caleb. He holds the ball too long. He wants the highlight play instead of the right play. I don’t feel bad for our franchise. We deserve this

Shady right. All those other rookie QBs played 5 seasons in college. They been seasoned.

Being seasoned in college don’t make you ready for the NFL lol

Man be fr put this in context. They lost some very close games with bad coaching they lost momentum and Caleb Williams playing through it all. They just need to get it together next season may be better. They should get Seattle offensive coordinator as head coach
