I remember receiving similar advice from a public school teacher a long time ago! But as something to do before a speech or presentation lol. Love how this can transfer to general health too

This is an absolute banger. Awesome powerful energy in you in this video. Loved that you came at the “don’t think” ideology. Thoughts are really helpful! Granted they can become problematic but they’re not to be demonized. I love the “doing to undo” principle. Feels better to think of adding to your life rather than subtracting from it. Going to revisit body scanning. And def think we are each our own best healer; I think it’s most helpful to go to a practitioner with a specific question or issue in mind. That way we can maintain our sense of our own responsibility for our own healing and just use what is helpful to us and discard what is not. ❤!

Aw that's so very kind! Awesome powerful energy - that's gotta be one of the best compliments I've gotten haha. I appreciate all your affirmative comments about the various things you liked. Also, that's terrific advice about having a specific question in mind when going to a healer.

I'm grateful for your channel. I'd like to suggest maybe considering meditation for over thinking. but it sounded like you considered meditation and didn't like the idea of stopping thought, I understand your concerns with that it can be honestly scary and difficult to jump into. I'm going to say something that might sound crazy but whatever. when you allow your mind to stop it gives your subconsciousness time to process things. this is why people dream when they're asleep. meditation gives us a stronger connection with our sub consciousness which in turn gives us a lot more perspective/interpretations of information and judgements we make. being able to access this meditative state even a little bit can be helpful and the more of a habit you form with meditation the easier it is.

I’m glad you’re grateful for my channel! I’m aware of those benefits of meditation. I’ve been on a rather intensive meditation journey for the past 15 years, trying countless types. At this point, the form of meditation that works best for me is qi gong. I’ve been doing qi gong daily for the past 5 years and it has done wonders for giving me a stronger connection to my subconscious and grounding my energy flow. Moving meditations seem to work best for me.

Can you show us how you do a portion of your routine?

I basically just lie or sit still and relax my muscles one by one. Most of what’s happening is in my mind; it’s not visible. I just direct my attention to the various parts of my body one by one and relax them.
