My first season ticket at City was the season he describes here, brilliant team to watch. Romped to the Division 1 title (now Championship) by scoring so many. Berkovic, Bernarbia, Goater, Huckerby etc. took the piss really. I’ve been going ever since and obviously love what we watch now even more!

Brilliant Interview. Just hilarious. These Ex footballers have such a wealth of stories. I never tire of listening to them. I can’t imagine that modern day footballers will ever have these sort of stories to relate in the future. Im Sorry, but hearing “Jack Grealish” and many other modern day footballers, being interviewed, they have a job to string a sentence together. where is the personality? Yes there are a few, “very few.” But the sheer number of ex footballers today, all able to relate their stories. Great vid. But don’t think that in the future you will hear experiences like these guys. They are characterless. Plus Modern day Managers do not have the charisma of Managers like Clough, Shankley,Bobby Robson Ferguson etc.

what a lad. one of the last few of the old school generation of players. for better or worse, they're all pampered fannies these days. I'm only 37 but i was brought up watching 60s west ham. stopped watching top flight footy around 2008. i think sky tv/premier lg ruined the character and soul of the english game. to each their own, I'm sure it's still very exciting for younger ppl.

Didn't Haaland retire because of his left knee? Roy hit his right. I think he played the next game for City and the next Norway game too. I think Haaland even wrote a article saying that, that tackle didn't end his career. Awful tackle tho I'd love to hear Haalands actual thoughts on it.
