I am going through my dog dying for real right now and I fear how I am going to live without him. I am trying to revel in each joyful moment, but I am afraid I may not recognize his time to go decision. He’s still eating well and drinking. I’m using that as my gauge! Absolutely we have felt that way too!! My husband and I have loved having ours it started with our rescues. Our Vader was my soul dog and we named our property in OK Vaders Villas it is the place he rehabilitated and it was the place he loved so much the day he passed away that morning he went frogging which is his favorite thing to do and even though he had cancer he after his meds would know that the clock said 11 am and he got to go to the ponds and go frogging. They can tell time❤. He taught his brother Trooper how to be his best and it was an unspoken training we couldn’t give him. We trained them/ rehabilitated them back to a leadership/ respectful companionship we LOVED them and they LOVED us until the end. So of course we after a while we did get 2 more Corso puppies. I will never have any other breed. It isn’t for everyone. We find ourselves educating others more than educating our boys lol. You hit that nail on the head. You can’t train your dog to love you. They love you because of the way you have trained them. You are responsibility and you take it seriously. MEE too. That is the most beautiful noise in the world. I have voice recordings of snoring lol Also Luke comes up to me for a kiss no licks he looks up almost likes he is puckering up and I realized he wanted a kiss. I kiss him and he goes about his business haha. ❤😂. They are smart and emotional. You are so right ❤❤ they are unique and I watch you all the time and I tell everyone to watch you from start if they want a Corso because there isn’t anyone else that can teach/ train/ explain them better❤ btw the hair is lookin good 🎉

Man, We have 3 pit rescues and now a Cane Corso this Big Boy is stick to my hip no matter what I am doing... I have four back injuries and he never PULLS me when we walk very obedient he even crys for me if I am apart from me... Man, I LOVE his love for me and I like how he always presses his head into my chest!!!

People like my Labs, but they go absolutely crazy over my Corso, Teddy. The most amazing thing is how calm he is in any environment and around people. As you stated he is alert to the surroundings and stares at everyone as to evaluate if friend or foe.❤

My husband says he is a bit jealous because my Zeus looks at me with so much love and loyalty. I am blessed with 2 a male and a female. My male is a Covid baby and is not socialized AT ALL! He is difficult with others but super sweet to our family. He is super smart and super sensitive.

No they are not. Two separate liters two separate breeders. I would not suggest liter mates with this breed. Mine fight over toys sometimes, but that isn’t nipped in the bud.

Only Other thing I could think of was spirituality, after all what is dog spelled backwards? at the very least my great Pyrenees has put me more in touch with nature and one other unexpected benefit I never expected a dog to smell so good. I think it’s due to the raw diet he admits the most pleasant aroma calms me and makes me happy!

The compliments from other people are fantastic when having a trained dog. But the line is USUALLY "wow! Your dog is so well behaved!" When it's hard work in their training, not just manners! Lol All so true and I love it all. Very few cons out weigh these pros to owning any breed of dog.

I didn't expect her to be so cute and wiggly❤ she gets all happy when i approach her.😂 i have worked with agressive pit bulls from fighting rings for 35 years. And I LOVE them!! I was surprised how NOTHING gets past her!! If I bring something into the house she alerts on it immediately

Do you have any advice on a lab corso mix Jason? I’ve found a puppy and he seems absolutely perfect. He’s mid pack and he’s the one that observes and then joins in. Really chilled laid back loving pup. I have a 3 year old daughter too. I Just feel like there’s so much negative stuff about corsos online that are causing me worry. Everything I’ve seen about lab/corsos is that they are giant babies that love everyone and everything. I’ve had a pit bull when I was a teen and unfortunately he was dog aggressive for a while but he was took away from the litter at 5 weeks and cooped up in a cage for 4 months by my uncle hence why we took him off him. Obedience/socialization wise he was great he was never fearful in new situations and I had him doing all kinds of obedience. I’ve trained dogs since I was a kid as I always wanted one of my own. Do you think a lab corso would be a good fit for me?

Hey, i had a cane corso that sadly passed away recently, he was 10. Just a few days after that we got a new puppy cane corso. He's now 3months old, he's not agressive or anything, he just loves to bite my hand and my feet whenever i try to pet him, it wasn't a big deal a month ago because he didn't really have teeth like he do now, do you know a way I can fix that?

Can you own one as the dominant female and no male in the home? I want a companion and protection. Male or female dog? No this not going to be my first dog. First dog was a chow for 14 years. Learned a lot after I had to go to er for stitches. Went to a trainer. I have used them for every dog I’ve had.

I’m pretty sure I may have shared with you that in 2022 I adopted a 7 or 8 month old dog from a local shelter that was labeled as a “shepherd mix” but turned out to be a Belgian Malinois (of which I knew Nothing about the breed) not realizing he was a “working breed” so because he had so much physical and mental energy he somehow (I don’t think I had anything to do with it) must have sustained an injury because my Dad or Mom said that they found either bloody vomit or stool in the yard (and the reason that I say that I don’t think that I had anything to do with it is because neighbors dogs started sneaking onto our property so I think he was rough-housing with one) and sustained an injury that was initially just noticed because my dog started limping.
