Like u said crates r ideal for puppys..when left alone in the house they will find everything to chew on however much excercise beforehand..make the crate nice n cosy,after a few weeks u can leave the door open and shell happily chill in there

Brilliant video staffy dog, I think if you use the crate sensibly it can be effective, but no dog should be left in a crate for hours.

My staffies have a love/hate relationship with the crate. Sometimes you can't get them to leave the crate and other times they try to chew through it.

I don't crate my house hippo she has a bed and sleeps there if i leave she will be where i left her or she might go on the bed in the extra room she has never had an accident in the house she gets two long walks a day and if its raining short ones suffice!.
