Unexpected Rescue and Restoration - REAL CAT

This little guy has shown up in front of my house. He was trying to be friendly but pain and begging in his eyes showed me he needed my help.
Now I'm calling him Alex as he kinda looks like the lion from Madagascar! And yes he is staying with me and I'm going to take good care of him :)

He's taking food which is an excellent sign, and cats have a remarkably fast process of healing flesh wounds, so fast in fact that if the surrounding fur is caught in the open wound while it's closing it can cause an abscess. The fact he is so calm as well, even when you started to use the electric clippers shows that he's been humanised well from kittenhood, and when applying the drops to the back of his head...my cats start to bolt from the house when they hear the draw opening that the flea drops are kept in. From the other room! He sat there like nothing was happening! Amazing respect, my man!

Animals are so clever. If they need help they search for humans. Even squirrels do this. Oh and a little tip. Put a towel at the bottom of the sink when you wash him. Most cats feel way more comfortable when they don´t stand on a slippy surface.

Best restoration so far!!! My family are animal lovers and we have two cats! All of our cats for the past 25 years have been rescues. And that's only been 5 cats 😊. If they are loved and given a good home. They live for a long time. During that time you will receive lots of love! ❤️❤️❤️

Man he was so docile during the work with the clipper; I was pretty sure you had fur for another 3 cats in the furpile you made by the time you were done! Cats that docile during the whole clipping and washing are pretty much a keeper - you've definitely made yourself a new lifelong friend there. :)

He's such a calm boy because he needs help and he knows you are helping him. Just having that large matted section off will make him feel a bit better. Once that medication sets in he will feel even better. Would suggest taking him back to a vet however, with those sores he might need a antibiotic course
