I am a ex employee of API Ltd established in 1948, CEO M.A. CHIDAMBARAM & A.C. MUTHAYYA, manufacturers of Lamby scooter & purchased 2nd hand scooter in 1987 for Rs. 4000/-. Used it for 28 years with 4 to 5 passengers or 120 kg load regularly. Due to non availability of spare parts I sold it in scrap at Rs. 2200/-. It is real fact. One can confirm its quality and life. Salute to my company who never harrashed its employees. OLA is a toy, no quality, no life , several times costly. Just importing parts from China and assembling in India. Owner is greedy and looting customer, employees are not honest. Result is bound to happen like this. So many things can be told.

I worked for ola electric as an fresher ev technician after completing my Diploma in Mechanical engineering for 1 month. I left the job after 1 month as soon as my first month salary get credited. And the main reason of leaving that company is low salary with high working hours, like I got around 18-19k and had to work for 60 hours every week. And that's not the only reason, i left it because they just give a us a 5 day training (where 10-12 people practiced in one ev) and then expected us to master the every problem and send us into remote places where they don't have any senior technicians. I got humiliated by customars for so many times because i didn't get to fix there problem in just a day all by my own. So, finally quite the job and decided to complete by btech

I own OLA S1 pro.... I had a very bad experience last time i visited the service centre. There are literally no platform to keep your scooter while repairing. They kept it on plastic box to elevate the rear wheel to dismantle it, I have taken a picture of it. and recently few days back i wanted to replace footrest of the scooter for they had asked me keep the scooter for 15 days. It will take 15 days to replace the footrest.... Are you kidding me seriously????

June 2017, I was taking my first cab ride in Pune, from Alandi to Pune Station. I had no idea, how cab rides work and how cab ride fares change in actual time with other parameters. The driver took a very long detour , and almost took an entire tour of the city before reaching the station. In the beginning of the ride, I told him, he should take the ride from Vishrantwadi, but he said "Yehi route hain". I didn't mind much thinking, I will anyway have to pay the same amount. When the ride ended, I ended up paying almost 5X of the estimated amount, I initially saw while booking my ride. Informed the customer care, but well what can I expect from a company whose CEO shares a Burnol image on Twitter when being asked about the safety concerns of Ola EV. This guy only knows the language of arrogance and his replies are a manifestation of the same. Nowadays, he is planning on selling the nationalism card to support his business. I never used Ola after 2017, and never going to use it again.

I worked as their one of their sales expert, they claim to fix their 95% of scooters in around 2 days. In fact, I think that's not true. As the customers experienced problems, the scooters are not durable enough. Electronic items tend to get worse, and on top of it it's just a new thing in the market, a prototype, it needs improvement regularly. But they didn't improve... No matter how expert of sales people they hire, in the end, people would know what to do with that company. They claim, "Hum bharat ki no.1 EV company hai..." Hero is better than OLA. Hero came lot of time before than OLA. First, Hero launched an electric scooter which also had pedals, then they launched optima versions. They never had problems that much, even if they do, it gets solved much better than OLA. Now I don't wanna work for OLA Sales, As soon as I get opportunity I would leave this, and do something else even for lesser salary. You know, atleast I'd have peace in heart, would not have any feeling of betraying innocents.
