As a duel links player that follows the tcg, seeing the stuff speed duels has that aren’t in duel links always shocks me. Freaking waking the dragon? Allure, union hangar, foolish, etc. format just has some surprising power cards

Is speed duels better than this? Nothing happens in this duel. Just some pass and maybe build a small board for your opponent to break. There isn’t much interactivity. So it reminds me of old school Yu gi oh but old school Yu gi oh kind of sucks

My friends and I are getting into speed duels after they announced the GX box. You were a big influence in me trying the format so I wanted to thank you for that. I still love advanced but it can get exhausting with the cost, complexity and the amount of non-games you play. I can only lose the die roll to drytron so many times.

Ironically I saw the exact issue and made a custom X-Head that's a Union. It lets you recycle ABC, XYZ, and everything inbetween to summon back Unions.

I personally find Speed Duels a little too slow for my liking, but that’s probably because I’m too used to the regular format.
