4005 is in a museum in Wyoming... also fun fact 3985 had white walls and white running boards while in storage at Cheyenne before restoration. She retained her white walls for a short bit after her restoration as a coal burner as well

@joenewstead4848 I have seen photos of 3985 with the white walls pre and post restoration. Definitely looked sharp. I looked it up after I made the video and it says 4005 is at the Forney transportation museum in Denver Colorado.

I have toyed with the idea of making a shelf layout of a railroad museum like the one at Strasburg Pa and operations would all be moving locomotives in and out of the storage, display areas and shops. it would allow for a wide variety of locomotives, and I'd just used the shuffled card method of deciding what moves where for each running session. I like what you are doing here with the variants and exactly the kind of thing I do with my models.

@anthonymiller8979 That is fantastic plan you have. My museum will definitely have to be quite large to accommodate everything I want to do and will definitely be the main show piece. Also housing more than just UP equipment. I've had the idea of it basically being a fantasy museum in Cheyenne then when UP wants to restore something from it they will move it to the steam shops. Have it be two separate locations but within a close proximity to each other. Of course still alot to figure out but that's just my basic plan.
