Union Printers Home of Colorado Springs: A Bounty Unpurchasable (1953)

Produced and edited by Jim Bates, this 1953 documentary is about the Union Printers Home of Colorado Springs. It follows a new patient and Union member through the process of being medically evaluated, receiving surgery, and being cared for at the Union Home through his recovery until he returns to his own home. It features footage of the train station and downtown Colorado Springs as well as the expansive facilities for the Union Printers Home. This film was donated to the Pikes Peak Library District.
