Just bought my first Mizuno boots. The Rebula 1 MIJ after watching Unisport Channel and much contemplation. Then i had to watch this video. Damn. Nevertheless still satisfied with my Rebula 1 MIJ. Mizuno may be my fav boots from now on as long as my wide feet can fit comfortably. Great video by Unisport as usual.

Hey, I definitely fancy a pair. However, I am not too sure on the size I should get. I usually get a size 9 UK, mainly due to my rather wide feet, but then I have a little bit of space in the toe area and have to wear double socks to prevent sliding around. It would be nice if that can be avoided with these boots. Therefore I am thinking of getting 8.5 UK as K-leather is soft and tends to stretch. Can you tell me if these are narrow, wide or average width boots? Much appreciated.

Greetings Jay, I have been meaning to ask this since the production of Rebula 1. I would like to know how is the fit of the boot for wide footed player. I like everything about the rebula but one thing I am not so sure is about the fit of the boot because I have a wide and flat feet for a size of 7.5 UK. The thing is I would want to go for a half size up because it could effect the fit at the toe box and all. I have watched Roberto Carlos wearing the Rebula in their ads and the way it fits really not accommodating in my view because the mouth of the boots open very wide around the laces area and minimize the surface for touch of the ball. I have not seen Jolter wear and pick Rebula as his top 5 for 2017 though he is a wide footed player (maybe just his preference). IAs general rule I know that leather boots will stretch to the shape of the foot but I am not so sure because I have been asking around that the idea of the making of Rebula is targeted for narrow footed player who likes leather boots besides the ct frame is said if I am not mistaken is to prevent the overstretch of the leather boots. Sorry for the lengthy words but I guess you get what I am asking. I hope to hear from you soon. Guys, anyone who has the experience feel free to give your advice. Thanks a lot.

Mursyid Junaidi well the Rebula is a pretty wide fitting boot - you CAN go up half a size since it’s a relatively tight fitting boot length wise, and also the last is made after Japanese feet which are flatter and wider than European feet as a rule of thumb. So yeah, get the right size and it shouldn’t be a problem. I have a slim foot and have some extra space in the midfoot. /Jay

I am still trying on Rv2, my pair that is my usual size has given me very bad blisters, I have only worn them twice, 1st time 30 minutes I could not continue in them, the 2nd time 5 minutes and gave up, I really like them so I was thinking maybe if I get a pair that is half a size larger that might solve the issue with very bad blisters on the right feet and blisters on the left is not as bad, however with the pitches shut down I can not try them out, so far Neo2 is the best I have and thinking of getting neo3 but saw a review that the author has 3 pairs neo2, neo3, and neo3 beta, the neo3 beta is giving him blisters so until he solves the issue I am a bit reluctant to get myself a pair! does anyone have bad blister problems with Mizuno Rebula v2 boots and is there any method to solve this issue? Would appreciate some help, many thanks!

Never. Rebula 1 yes. Rebula 2, the midfoot tongue stretchy material is too restrictive and the toe box is narrower than the first gen.

I bought these and theyre all fine and good except for the heel. They are absolutely killing me. The leather is still new and tight around the midfoot and toe box so im hoping once that breaks in my feet can sit a bit better in the shoe so they wont feel like cheese graters on the back 😭

@@jasonholdsworth2497 not good my man, I've done the hot water trick , I've worn them around the house for hours, I've worn two pairs of socks and taped up my heels and they STILL kill me. In the process of trying to break them in obviously I couldn't return them so now im stuck with a reminder of 300 dollars I completely wasted. My suggestion? Nike tiempo legend 7 elite, Nike tiempo legend 8 pro (if you prefer the leather to be the start of the show these are better than the elites) im apprehensive about buying the rebula 3s or the rebula cup. Im sure curiosity will win and I'll eventually but the latter.
