I love the kruelboyz because they worship mork. On the other hand the Ironjawz ladz have some proper looking models. I like kruelboyz because their monsters look cool and they use ranged attacks. I would love for there to be extra factions as well including ogor mawtribes, gloomspite gitz and sons of behemat. I'm a pretty heavy destruction player on table top.

I'd love if the game added sons of behemat. I'd love to see frontlines of gargants of all sizes causing havoc. I'd also live to see other destruction factions like the Ironjawz, bone rippas , gloomspite gitz and ogor mawtribes. The sorts of fun a grand alliance of destruction player could have with all those in this game.

@@Zm0r oh bad what ? the combat lock system in engage is very new in RTS game, a lot of hex like stun, fear, knockback, silence, burn... more will come, Battlefield can affect strategy, each unit have their role and skill so only you are chicken to play this micro management game lol, i play warhammer 3 total war both campaign and pvp for a long time and i say this game is good solid, but not for chicken lol

Dont compare this game to warhammer total war since they have nothing in common. This game needs more development and some changes, not to be released for full price of 60 dollars. One tactic in mutiplayer that I often see nighthaunt players use is swarming crossbows and using speed and retreat to skirmish so you can't physically get them. Its hard to deal with early game but what I like to do is get max stormcast muster point and use the teleport storm strike ability to land storm drakes or obliterators onto them. It works epically

Overall, very happy with unit selection. Could have been larger for some factions, but they've struck a correct balance in my opinion. It's cool that micro-sized DoW II-like gameplay and Age of Sigmar are finally getting some recognition again. Crossing my fingers for Lumineth Realm-Lords and Ossiarch Bonereapers as DLC factions ! Spears and Shield for the win. Also hoping the salt-crowd from Total War will leave the game alone despite being bored and angry after the SoC debacles. Hoping they'll get better stuff and leave us alone with our new toys.

AoS armies don't have much unit variety compared to old world because they split factions off into several subfactions (just look at the vampire counts roster)

You forgot to add 2 new playable heroes units for each factions. For stormcast eternal theirs get Yndrasta the Celestial Spear when the kruleboyz get Gobsprakk the Mouth of Mork. You can only play them in both multiplayer and conquest modes.

Loving the variety of units, clear roles not just per unit but for each of the factions. Tanky Stormcast, Killy Nighthaint, Shooty Tzeentch and Tricksy Kruelboyz. Can't wait to see what else they bring out! (Fingers crossed for Seraphon, Ogors, Skaven and Soulblight for another faction per Grand Alliance)

Thanks for the info! I feel from the very first videos you made from this game that the developers didn't know where to put it. I really, really hoped they will make a Blizzard-like RTS, or an Armies of Exigo-, AoE-like RTS. In graphic they kinda did it, but they mixed it with some LoL elements and the number of units, the simplicity of the game suggests, it ains mobile players. I feel uncertain after all, specially for the price of the game. 😢

Not really a game for me, not a huge fan of AoS, but I'm hoping it goes well so that we might get a modern, pretty, 40K RTS in the future because I think being able to command units straight from the tabletop in a warhammer version of steel division or company of heroes would be a dream come true for a lot of people, myself included. That, along with an RPG in warhammer fantasy and an MMO in 40k are my biggest dreams for gaming, I just feel like the warhammer IP has been criminally underused but it seems like that is slowly changing, maybe it will take Cavil's movies before these things happen and get huge budgets but I'm still holding out hope!

They're Kruleboyz, a new ork faction that was added around a year ago to the TT. They're visually much more inspired by 80s D&D and LOTR orcs. They're the favoured of Mork so being cruel and sneaky is their whole thing.

For whatever reason it wont pull up your comment so I cant read it fully so i'll respond to what it would let me see. I have 1,600 hrs logged into DoW1 SS, and 300 on Dark Crusade (FOK). I am completely aware of how amazing of a game it is. I have 1000 hrs on DoW2 (Retribution). And unfortunately, I only have 110 hrs on DoW3 because I can only play 3 factions for so long before I get bored. I have seen the most absurd slanders one could imagine about this game, At first it was "The game is to bright Waaaah Waaah" "Omg, I know Chapter Masters in 40k have killed avatars of gods before but Angelos doing a flip is just much for me. People being able to stop time or summon demons is okay but front flips with a daemon hammer (With A Wailing doom fragment inside of it) is tooOooOOo much." "The space marines are tooo skinny!" They are one variant of orc (or orruk) in AoS. The classic designs still exist.

@@joshwenn989 Fantasy was selling fine and GW killed it off as it would be in competition with AoS. Shame nobody likes AoS products and the world building looks like it was made by a collection of weirdos from deviantart

Fantasy was absolutely dead in terms of sale and there's a reason why there's been persistent rumours that GW's black spray paint alone outsold the entire Fantasy range - maybe if Total War: Warhammer had come out two or three years earlier Fantasy could have been saved, but it didn't. And you say 'nobody likes it' but according to GW's own financial statements Dominion was the best-selling fantasy product they've ever made, even with how overproduced it was.

Don't blame GeeDubz for having conceived first the Nighthaunt army from blueprint to tangible resin figures, and Frontier Dev'ts in-house were only adapting some of the given units.

This game has Dawn of War III energy, except people actually wanted DoWIII. Nobody asked for this, just like nobody asked for Age of Sigmar. It'll come out, barely anyone will buy it or play it, then they will blame the "fans" and can it.

@@HnKYuda I do still like the Kruleboyz being in game. They have some goofy units and I appreciate that about all Orruk factions. Killa Bow looks amazing
