the app. If on android create a extra account and only give the app permission using that account which has nothing. There are also a few GPS spoofing apps to use too.

This is a very concise and coherent review. Well done! Apart from the high price and all of the issues presented in the video, the constant recharging and inevitable replacement of the five "INR18350" lithium batteries will cause many to shy away from this product. Also, other reviews have mentioned that the batteries will simply stop working in the middle of a workout. What a hassle!

Thanks. Very interesting. Did you test the Handy Gym? No battery, and app only optional but not required at all to use it. I'll receive mine today, so I have no real personal opinion beyond the probably biaised reviews I've seen 😃

The location is an Android thing...they tied bluetooth and location together. So not specifically Unitree's fault. Unitree needs bluetooth to talk to the Pump, so sadly location comes along. Many are angry at Google for tying these two together. I turned off my GPS location. Signed up on a throwaway used phone and then use the app without gps or wifi on. Encased the cheap phone in a strong case because if you exercise hard, you're going to be bonked and shaky and the phone will fall. So not using your expensive main phone is good. Also, you can set the Pump to whatever, and until you set it again, it's at that setting. So you don't strictly need your phone unless you want to change within a workout. Have you been able to charge a modern phone? the 10W limit seems to limit me to using the Pump to only charging older, smaller phones.
