Is the information about this being free outdated? That beta link now takes me to some news receiving subscription that took me nowhere and the regular information says Muse is 30 dollars a month with 15 day free trial.

They recently moved out of Beta, so they moved to the subscription plan. Well worth checking out with the trial, see if it works for you but they need to make more changes.

Sadly not, but they're planning to add features for that. Who knows when though.

Unity has already a skeletal mesh rig: 2D Animation which is the one used in Happy harvest

Yes, absolutely. Just sign up for the beta, I put the link in the description. I think they were sending out a lot of new invites recently. You get access to Muse Sprite / Texture and such.

From my understanding, this isn't quite acceptable for publishing yet due to copyright laws in the West and steam's own policy. (Steam seems to have rules against AI assets, and well copyright law says you don't own them also; so anyone is free to rip them right off and reuse). Fun to toy with though.

You're right, it is cloudy when it comes policies on other platforms but I think it's great to experiment with and play around. Do you think it could be useful for you?

The copyright laws need to be looked at again. An example, is if you use AI as a base for your images, code, txt etc, and is then modified by a human source is the modified parts of that item copyrightable?

@@securityranger773That is how it works right now, yes. You can Copyright an AI output if you modify it significantly with your own hand; but it is determined on case by case basis. But Raw output from an AI is essentially public domain.

@@SpeedTutor I think usability will depend on style and direction, it seems that all the outputs are rather generic. Good bases to work with regardless. But a strong, distinct art direction might not be able to use it as much. Excellent for Prototyping/placeholders though.

That's why they included the style trainer in regards to a more concise style that you might need, I do want to find out how to efficiently use the trainer. I'll see if I can find out.
