Thanks, worked great with a Linear opener. Make sure to reset the keypad before you start, this probably won’t work if you don’t ( like the six times I tried it without the reset) ;-)

@Teshome Melese With the battery cover off, there is a small black button inside, Press and hold for five or six seconds until it beeps. Then it is reset.

After about 20 minutes of trying without success I discovered that I was pressing the learn button on the opener for too long. A quick press and release was all that was needed on my genie for it to work great

For overhead "genie" garage door openers you have to press 1111# twice after pressing the learn button.

Very clear, concise video. But I followed all directions and still couldn't get mine to work. I have the exact same unit that she tested, the second one (liftmaster - code 08 on the chart). I wonder why it's not working?

I'm sure this is too late to help Dan, but maybe it'll help someone else. Yes, LiftMaster and Chamberlain both have yellow buttons and are essentially the same, at least for this remote. I have a LiftMaster and wasn't sure, so did some looking. Yellow button is the key to same. I too, like Dan, followed instructions to no avail until I went back to basics. Disconnect the battery. Reconnect the battery. Press and hold reset button under the battery til it beeps the second time (yep, wait, keep holding, there's the second beep!), and then follow instructions as written or shown here in the video. Worked like a charm after that. No worries!

When programming for a genie. I am stuck. After entering the code the first time instead of the long LED turning solid purple the short LED starts flash along side the Long LED. Entering the code a second time does nothing.

The only way to reprogram a red button Craftsman is to have two consecutive numbers the same in the pin. Example- 2754 won’t work but 2755 will. And it must be channel 2.

You saved my bacon! I was trying my "red button" on channel 1 and it wouldn't work. Channel two worked the first time. I put the other garage door (Stanley) on channel 1. Thanks!!

I Have a Genie Intellicode 1995 Tried Numerous Times Couldn't Get it To Work... Kept Watching Your Video Over and Over Finally Noticed How The Antenna's Were Touching The Side of Your Keypad So Got Up There and Had Keypad Touching My Antenna and Guess What It WORKED !!!...... However if I So Much as Move The Keypad an Inch Away It Doesn't Work and Yes I Even Put a Tested Good New 9V Battery in and Same Results !.... What Good is a Garage Door Keypad if it Has To Be Touching The Antenna....????

There are several colors of learn buttons, although we currently only support devices with Green, Red/Orange, Purple and Yellow learn buttons. So it's pity we remote can't support gray learn button.

LiftMaster with a yellow button is the same as Chamberlain (08). Too late for you, but maybe in time for someone else. I had to disconnect battery, hit the reset button, and then it worked.

All the Liftmaster opener is refer to Chamberlain. Like as Chamberlain = Liftmaster.
