Had i known this one is hard to install, let alone remove the knob from the mechanism, i wouldve returned the darn thing. These instructions make it look easier than it actually is.

I did it exactly as shown and in interior rose won’t separate from the mounting plate.

Hello. The rose can be separated from the mounting plate by removing the knob and then inserting a flat head screwdriver at the dimple marks along the outside of the rose. Please give our Customer Care team a call at [phone] so we can assist.

U have the interior part of the handle backwards, the knob or handle can only clip in on one side or the other. Same happened to me. Terrible terrible product but I got them on clearance for 11$ so I guess is ok (go figure they are 80% off at Home Depot lol)

Your one size fits all written instructions for different models are incredibly convoluted and impossible to follow. They don’t show that you have to leverage a screw driver to remove the plate as shown here. Somebody needs to talk to whoever wrote the instructions that come with your product, or whoever required that one set of instructions be used for all models.
