Before every game the University of Cincinnati Marching Band runs down the steps of Nippert Stadium for pregame. Watch what happens to this poor trumpet player.

Those Nippert steps will get you, sooner or later. They go from really steep to very shallow. I've must have tripped on them dozens of times. This wasn't the first nor will it be the last band member wipeout (we usually have one per year). The risk comes with the territory.

Poor brotha! It's gnarly to have embarassing moments featured on a sports show! Mean spirited of ESPN. They say it's good he's showing determination, but they're just trying to get a laugh at someone's expense. Boooo ESPN.

You just gotta laugh it off. I am sure he loves to look back at it. And kuddos to him to get up and go and not miss a beat. even without a mouth piece

Thanks for keeping band and band people cool ESPN. Too bad they didn't show something important like the other 250+ members that didn't fall, or the clarinets playing the sick runs in the fight song, or the twirlers catching their 3 battons that were spinning 50 feet in the air, or the battery playing down the steps sixtuplets at 160bpm with their height to their frickin chin. I used to run that in my high heeled boots. I can't believe I never did the same thing. Full speed to instant flat running is not easy.

Dude. That's terrible. All ESPN is, is a bunch of loud-mouthed jock-watchers picking out what they can make fun of and laugh at. Really? REALLY? How unprofessional. That trumpet player must feel bad. But nice airplay, I'll say that.

I do play in a marching band, and that shit is demanding! But if I fell I would laugh myself to death. Unless it's a competition. Then you'll get murdered by your fellow bandies.
