like, subscribe, and don't forget to feed the algorithm ... aka comment. Because your videos are very good. Thanks for the brush tutorial! I could not figure out the interaction between Flow and Opacity, until now. So, again, thanks!

You have anything on the smudge tool? I understand it in Photoshop Elements, but I seem to be doing something wrong in Affinity Photo 2. Nice videos on Affinity by the way. Thank you.

Hey, First of all thanks so much for watching, I really appreciate that. I don't really have anything on the smudge tool, to be honest I use it from time to time and make changes in the top left corner (force, strength, flow) while using it but nothing too major. What issues do you seem to be having? how did you use it previously? let me know.

@@bydesignmethod When needing to extend a straight line of anything I could click on the end of an existing line then shift/click anywhere and it would extend it. Here's an example: Let's say I have a flag pole. It's too short. I can click on the end of the flag pole and extend it any length I want. By using the smudge tool (in Photoshop Elements) it maintains the shadowing, color, etc. It is similar to the clone tool, but I can do it with the smudge tool with one click, whereas with the clone tool it takes a multitude of clicks and it is usually not as clean. I can't imagine that Affinity can't do the same, but I must be doing something wrong. Your help would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, I like your teaching style. Thanks. I've been looking at videos on the KZbin about one stroke dragon. Somehow it's fascinates me...I wonder if there is a way we could use the affinity designer to create somthing close to it?

Thank you very much! That's an interesting topic, I just looked it up and will have to look into it!
When you brush is selected (b on the keyboard) move your sliders on the top left (opacity, flow hardness) default is all 100%

@@OffiziereDann you can change the type of brush by selecting another from the brushes panel. You can also edit the brush by using by going to 'more' at the top of the screen when the brush is selected. i apologize if I'm not understanding your question
