Krypton gave him the best design. I wish that’s the Doomsday Superman fought in Superman and Lois. Same with the Brainiac, Lobo, and Zod from Krypton. But I still like the twist on Doomsday they did on S&L. All the villains on that show aren’t completely comic book accurate but have an interesting twist. I really liked the connection they created between Luthor creating Doomsday. Hopefully he turns against his creator like in the comics, but this time Superman saves the creator, Luthor. Perfect irony

Smallville did something new with the character of Doomsday, while still having a good design. BvS had a bad Doomsday design overall. The Krypton series had a great intimidating design and was pretty much comic book accurate. In superman and Lois, Doomsday's design was better than BvS, and it did something new with the character by making him initially an alternate version of Superman that is also Bizarro, while staying true to the comic book origins of the character by having him die and resurrect stronger repeatedly.

For me, the best design and impression of the character is the one from Superman and Lois. It really feels like a beast with enough power to destroy everything, the one from Smallville looks a lot like a guy in a suit, and Krypton's looks very close to the classic design but his behavior leads much more to an intelligent version instead of a savage beast, and Snyder version, I don't know but to me, he looks like a giant baby.

I've liked some of their movies (The Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Shazam...), but the good movies tend to be stand-alone, while their more connected, Snyder controlled stuff that could in theory be impacted by previous in-story events is a complete mess.

Besides that, it was Zod's attack that Waller cites as leading to the formation of the Suicide Squad (going with the airtight logic that if Kryptonians attack again the people with boomerangs, a bat and ability to tie knots are humanity's best bet). There was also no indication that it inspired any Leafuers besides making Batman feel guilty.

Doomsday from Smallville has a more canonical look. Zack Snyder's version shares similarities with Michael Shannon's Zod. The version from Superman and Lois has very poor detail.

IF they Combined the Krypton Doomsday's Classic design and Kryptonian Survivalist, Bio-weapon origin story, and Superman and Lois's Doomsday's savagery and Hulking size, we'd have a Clear Winner. As what we currently have however each Doomsday variant is "Missing Something" valid which frankly is what's throwing off it's depiction as the ultimate killing machine. As someone who owns the Graphic Novel, Doomsday was depicted wearing that green "Containment Jump Suit" which acted as a Restraining device. The Bone protrusions were a result of self evolution and adaption to harsh environments or external threats. The fact it lacked "Intelligence" and instead was more like a monstrous Unreasoning Unflinching killing machine that only understood Everything MUST DIE, was what made it terrifying. It was more like a Super Terminator than something with intelligence. Also the thing we KEEP seeing DC get Wrong is ONE they are RUSHING the Doomsday fight, First Doomsday goes on a genocidal Killing spree up the east coast. Doomsday Fights the JLA/Justice Leage SECOND, & FINALLY it has a Confrontation with Superman, and that Battle still ends up with an insane amount of casulties, and destruction all the way up the East Coast of the US.. It was a Brutal and Horrific Fight.

I like how in BvS, Doomsday keeps evolving as the fight went on. He even had a weapon on his hand evolve to kill Supes. Krypton however had the most brutal Doomsday.

Honestly they all look bad. It's more a competition of which looks least bad. Amazingly Smallville was the closest to lore accurate but the poor materials held it back. Not surprisingly of course with the budget. Krypton, meanwhile, has the best origin out of all of them, as an ancient Kryptonian weapon. My preference though, is for the character to be so old that his ultimate origins is a mystery. Kryptonian in nature in some way, but a being more out of folklore and myth. A bedtime story to scare children by the time before Krypton's destruction. Then Superman finds out it's actually real.

Though the CGI wasn’t the best, the S&L fight was a lot of fun to watch. My favorite Live Action version is Snyder’s, but I really love the animated movie version. Early-to-mid 90’s comics were the absolute best time, especially for Superman.
