i think you have the youtube channel with the most comprehensive knowledge of theory and your'e also the only one who can actually play jazz and know his stuff
@GregorypeckoryАй бұрын
Robbie is fantastic and I am a fan. Having said that, I don't agree with erasing everyone else's accomplishments in order to give him a compliment. There are plenty of great jazz educators with KZbin channels, run by people who know the theory, and can "actually play jazz"; hardly a rare skill. Robbie is an incredible player, and great teacher, but to say he's the only one on KZbin who knows theory and can play jazz is absurd.

Ive just started but ive seen your other videos are they are very informative! if you by chance see this, what finish is on your 335? is it iced tea?
@RobbieBarnby2 ай бұрын
Thanks for checking out the vids! It was originally more red than it is now but it's a sunburst colour which I've heard referred to as an iced tea burst.
@Remyjor2 ай бұрын
@@RobbieBarnby of course!!! I appreciate your reply! I’ve been saving up for a 335, finding a nice iced tea and vintage burst is the goal!!

"we are using their major triad pairs to construct each arpeggio". Is that what i just heard? Jeez.. i love watching these videos but Robbies stuff is honestly some of the first i cant grasp some of it, its too far out my theory level. 😍
