Is this save with DR? I still have a 3 finger gap. I heard cat- cow is a lot of pressure on the core. Thank you.

Great question and it is all about how you are doing the exercises and managing intra-abdominal pressure. Breathing and posture are key for this as well as what you are feeling while doing the exercises. If done correctly cat and cow are great exercises because of working on spinal mobility.
