Fantastic! I have been in and out of pelvic floor therapy for a couple of years, but haven’t found anyone who addresses the whole body and mind like you do. I especially appreciate the mobility movement you incorporate. So many of us who deal with chronic pain aren’t moving enough due to the fear of more pain. Thank you!

Thank you for your kind comment, I’m so glad my videos have been helping! Yes, over the years of personal and professional experience I’ve found that an INTEGRATIVE, holistic, whole-person approach is the most effective way to see true and lasting results. As for movement for chronic pain, yes!!! “Motion is lotion!!!” 🎉

Honestly the fact this channel has so many subscribers for having so many videos geared specifically towards pelvic dysfunction shows how common these problems really are. After having my kids my pelvis, core, hips and low back have never been the same and I live in an area with poor healthcare so the physical therapists I’ve seen haven’t even been willing to entertain the idea my pelvis may be a huge contributor to the larger dysfunction. Anyways thanks for helping us get our power back! This video genuinely just helped me walk down my stairs pain free, something that doesn’t often occur.

Thank you so much for this! It’s hard to find this type of content. I recently started dancing again, which I LOVE. However, my pelvic floor is a bit less thrilled. I have incorporated some of the things I learned from this channel, which has helped me. This video might have saved me from stepping away from hip hop, which I am extremely excited about. I was wondering if you could do a routine specifically for pre/post dance class. Maybe even some quick exercises to do during the few seconds of breaks that get thrown in during the class. Thank you so much!

Just got done doing these. My hips (or something in that area) did not like the circles. Ha. Hoping this actually helps my lower back… been having a flare up with it pulling out of place recently and my chiropractor said my muscles are so tight that’s why. Thanks for all of these videos! 😊

You're welcome! Always listen to your body and don't push past the point of pain, but... that being said... sometimes easing into these places of slight discomfort can actually be a good thing. Have patience and be consistent. Motion is lotion!

Dr Bri I have tight pelvic floor and my main symptom is a discomfort in my rectum. Feels like my rectum/anus is heavy. Sometimes it hurts like a cramp/ spasm. What can I do? I’m dealing with this issue since almost one year now.

I am 2 years post menopausal and suffer from severe anxiety. I don’t know if the two issues maybe linked. I’m currently in psychotherapy.
@vibrantpelvichealth Жыл бұрын
It's great that you're in therapy and working with the anxiety, as that can ABSOLUTELY contribute to rectal spasms! You might also benefit from the info in this video about pelvic floor spasms: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bICnnKZup5l2qbs

Is it save with prolapse??
@vibrantpelvichealth Жыл бұрын
This workout is **pelvic floor aware** meaning that specific cues are given for breathing and technique. This keeps the workout "pelvic floor friendly" for people with all sorts of pelvic floor issues, including prolapse. That being said, I can't guarantee that it will be appropriate for your needs. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT and will tolerate exercises differently. Listen to your body and stop or modify if anything feels uncomfortable for your particular core/pelvic floor needs. Talk to your local pelvic floor physical therapist for individualized medical advice!

Dr.bri I am following u from 5yrs and benefited as to release techniques. I have contractions in my vagina like orgasm feeling. What to do please help.
@vibrantpelvichealth Жыл бұрын
Thanks for being a follower for so long! I'm glad you've benefited from the release techniques I offer. If you're still having a lot of contractions in your vagina then I have two suggestions: 1) look into the mind-body connection (because an underlying "root cause" of unmanaged stress and anxiety might be contributing to the muscle spasms), and 2) see if you can find a pelvic floor specialist in your area for in-person treatment. Please explore this playlist to learn more about the mind-body-pelvic floor connection: kzbin.info/aero/PLDputRBPsHFS6H1d1EwGK3fmiMxJY3bSp
