This is amazing stuff! Keep up the great work UE4 team. What type of machine are you running? We may need more videos like this to convince the decision-makers of conventional paper or AutoCAD architectural companies to spend the money on PCs that can run 2+ GTX 1080 TIs with 32 GB of ram.

All you need to run UE4 very well is a $1000 PC with a mid range gaming GPU and 16 GB of ram. The editor doesn't support SLI or multiple GPUs, so the best you can get is a 1080ti or a Titan V Either of which, really isn't needed to work within UE4. Although you might want to throw a Titan V on a PC running a demo at 4k.

At 15:15 in the video he moves the realtime light, but are the soft shadows on the wall baked then? They don’t seem to change.
@ZoneCracker4 жыл бұрын
Nothing is baked in UE4. Lighting need to be rebuilt after change.

Great webinar. How to create an interactive output for clients, so they can use like game. Because client will not install UE in their pc or phone. Please reply.

Just "export" it (the finished product) to another platform. Depends on how the project designed, it can be played at Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, Lumin, etc. Just play it like another game executable. Like, installing the APK at android. Also, it is VR ready, if designed so.

I know, I'm a millenial with no patience but I had to speed the video up 2x - the presenter takes wayyyyy too long to get to a point and it's difficult to stay focused on it.

Lol it has nothing to do with you being a millenial. When i started watching i literally said "he speaks so slow, i bet that even if i put it on 2x speed it would still not be fast enough" 😂

guys i'm an architect and i have low xp in rendering bu i can 3Dmodel Fast and Fine , how hard would it be for me to learn this from 0 to like 70%, from youube
@farhanakhtar23904 жыл бұрын
It's easy to start. Just model in any 3d software then using datasmith plugin get your scene in unreal. But to get this kind of realism it will take quite awhile.
