You guys need to either update this video or the BMS Tools setup guide. In this video, you say to connect to the Battery Comm port. In the guide it’s connecting to the RS-485 port.

Thanks for the video. One key point that you quickly mentioned is the pin out for the cable. The cable I received is connected to pins 7 and 8 vs 1 and 2 for some reason. I contacted EG4 and they're sending me a new one. To clarify, it plugs into the Comm port now, not the RS485 port? Also, are you guys going to update the user manual?

I have an EG4-LL-S battery and I cannot connect to the battery with an RS485 adapter on either the Battery Comm or the RS485 ports. Can you do a guide for the new battery?

Does the EG4-LL v1 batts now just use the v2 firmware? I’m not seeing v1 firmware on site any longer.

Sadly the battery's SN are all the same, you can't even know which one battery is you looking for.

You can if you set each of the batteries dip switch ID's properly.
