“He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” This is a beautiful verse from Micah. In this study of Micah, David Pawson points out that the Bible is unique in that it is a book of history and geography, not just words and thoughts. God unfolded his revelation at particular times and places, and it is helpful to understand why. As a simple country man, Micah was very aware of social injustice, and the corruption of the city was influencing the country areas. Micah was greatly disturbed by what he saw going on among the people of God - idolatry, immorality and injustice. He also has good news for the distant future. David notes that God is both just and merciful. Justice gives us what we deserve whereas mercy gives us what we don’t deserve. He says that justice and mercy are not contradictory, but travel down the same road, but mercy goes further than justice. The cross demonstrates this supremely. David says Micah is a message for our time as well as his.
David also has a book on this series find out more here: www.davidpawso...

David Pawson gives a panoramic picture of Micah’s time. There is the judgment of God but what is illuminating is that, as he explains, “Justice is giving people what they deserve; but mercy is giving people what they don’t deserve”. This is so helpful to understand many spiritual events.

Today Justice is perverted everywhere in this world. The one who is Just and Holy will bring judgment and will set everything right . Only in the reign of Christ will be true peace and justice. That day is coming When JESUS returns the second time with power and glory. I am much blessed by the study of Micah by David Pawson. Thank you .

And He will judge between many peoples And render decisions for mighty, distant nations. Then they will hammer their swords into plowshares And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation will not lift up sword against nation, And never again will they train for war.

what a blessing of an introduction to the book of micah. also, if paid close attention to, it will dispel the long held false picture of where jesus was born-that he was not born in a filthy animal shed but in a pristine tower of the flock, a tower where passover lambs were birthed and wrapped in swaddling strips of old priestly garments. the lord be blessed for david's teaching manner and skill.

People should ask God for mercy For consistently saying that we're merely human and constantly saying what did you expect from a human imperfect human yes you're right you're in imperfect and you're bound to make a mistake or two and yes you are forgiven for that but you are also to better yourself that is something I do not see man doing much of and when I say man I am not referring to a sex I mean all of mankind male and female it takes masculine and feminine energy for creation to take place you cannot have one without the other and one is not greater than the other that is something else man should ask God to have Mercy for

What people should ask God For Mercy for is the way that they treated the Earth that God gave to man as home people should ask for mercy for the way that they treated the birds and the bees the ocean and the sea all gifts from God what men should ask Mercy for God is putting too much faith into another man and not enough faith into spirit man should ask for Mercy for believing in a book written from the deceptive hands of mankind before believing and their Primal instincts that God gave them taught to ignore the vessel the temple AKA your body that God speaks to you through

Well this country bumpkin named Micah says that some of the people that Deem to holy and God's chosen people are the very definition of evil and and are the very source as everything corrupt in this world.... some of those pagans you talk about Will be the ones that truly enter into Heaven. That is an end time prophesy from this Micah and yes my birth name really is Micah straight from The Book of Micah

What stands is not to be in BEAUTY town (Saphir,) its spirtual destruction by antichrist. Micah 1:6. Therefore I will make samaria as a heap of the field, and as plantings of the vineyard: Jesus is coming near future to clean house, idol worship will be gone and misguided preachers who teach tradition of men, false doctrine, will be in the pit. Satan also will be locked away in the pit, 1,000 years, revelation chapter 20. Micah 1:9. For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem. In revelation chapter 13, their is a wounding to a political one world system. Antichrist arrives at 6th trump, to heal the deadly wound. Antichrist sets up shop at Jerusalem. 1:10. Declare Ye ot not in gath, weep not at all; in the house of Aphrah roll Thyself in the dust. What's going on here?? The word Gath means = wine press, its divine judgement from God. Grapes juices are squeezed out in wine press. So a person's character is squeezed out. The word BAKKO OL TIBKU = weep town weep not. The dust man is antichrist, their will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when Jesus comes to clean house. Many people will be on the other side of the gulf, separated from paradise, their punishment for worshiping antichrist. 1:11. Pass Ye away , thou inhabitants of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitants of Zaanaan came not forth in the mourning of Beth-ezel; The word Saphir means = BEAUTY town. ZAANAAN means in Hebrew = tz anan , it means, TO WEEP. Jesus tells us in gospel of Matthew, their will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, the shame people brought on them selves running to antichrist. 1:12. For the inhabitants of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the Lord unto gate of Jerusalem. Maroth means = bitter town, its also of revelation, its called worm wood, its antichrist! The misguided preachers led their flocks right into satan's camp, teaching traditions of men, false doctrine, like rapture doctrine, its lie. Some pastors or ministers wont teach minor prophets or revelation, their congregations are left defenseless against antichrist lies and deception. The preachers use symbolism instead of substance. 1:14. Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moresheth-gath: the house's of Achzib shall be lie to the kings of Israel. The word Akzib in Hebrew means = A Lie, or prove false. Were talking about churches that teach tradition of men, allow heathen customs like psychology or positive thinking to infiltrate their church. The preacher wont teach revelation or old testament. I'm not knocking churches, some pastors and priests are compromised. Achzib (churches), lie to people, their not warned antichrist arrives first, and their not fed God's word. Friend, Get out of achzib, get out of saphir (BEAUTY town), only shame will come, from ignorance and being biblically illiterate, antichrist is coming near future!!. Its trip to hell if you dont get out Achzib and saphir!!.

Thank you Matt, I am convinced that we are well into the end times. NOW is the time to ensure that the wicks of our lamps are trimmed and the reserve flasks of oil are topped up! About 13 years ago I was given a prophesy of an impending global shake-up and here we are; global pestilence and global famine as forewarned by Jeshua Himself. Agapé and shalom.
