Also, Death Battle claimed that Discord would have a hard time putting Bill down since Bill apparently has soul regeneration, but completely forgot the fact that the quantum destabilizer, a piece of human technology, had enough power to annihilate Bill's body and spirit (Weirdmageddon Part 1). Discord would have more than enough power to put Bill down for good since he could blitz Bill with faster speed (traveled fast enough to go back in time while Bill has no incredible speed feats) and land a killing blow first. I also find it funny that they mention that speed would be meaningless, but in previous match-ups like Trunks v. Silver and Ben 10 v. Green Lantern, where both combatants had the power to manipulate time, speed was actually a factor. Death Battle can't stay consistent with their own standards and instead finds ways to make their preferred character win because they are biased.

Something that is worth mentioning that completely debunks the "Bill Cipher is stronger than Discord" statement made by Death Battle is that Discord can freely enter any living being's mind without any stipulations. Bill Cipher has to make deals to enter minds. Discord could just attack Bill from the safety of someone else's body and Bill would have to kill that creature to get to Discord. Discord could continue to keep his distance by creating plenty of creatures and keep entering their minds and Bill would be helpless.

You are right in that their strength is equal. I was referring to their ability to overpower each other. Basically, in My Little Pony Cosmology, there exist an infinite number of parallel universes with an infinite number of possibilities without even including crossovers. Death Battle considers Gravity Falls cosmology to be higher than that of My Little Pony because they consider the Nightmare Realm to be a "higher plane", but they never prove this claim with evidence. In the Gravity Falls journals, it is stated that the Nightmare realm is a dimension in-between other dimensions, so I wouldn't consider it a "higher plane". Overall, we are comparing infinity to infinity, so it is impossible to call one stronger than the other. The main difference is that Discord can freely enter the mindscape while Bill has to make a deal to enter the mind of just one person. Discord has better hacks than Bill and most of Discord's moments of weakness are him testing those around him because he doesn't want others to rely on his powers. Also, Bill has a lot more exploitable weaknesses (he could literally be defeated with one blast from a quantum destabilizer, can't break through gravity falls weirdness barrier without Stanford's equation, has an extremely vulnerable weak point in his eye that takes longer to regenerate, etc.) Overall, Discord is better equipped to defeat Bill on account of his superior hacks and more diverse abilities.@@deephurting8583

Basically when Discord turned himself into Accord and the main 6 attempted to use the elements on him they didn't work, instead he turned the elements against them and explained the elements bring order and as we all know, order can erase Discord's very concept from existence.

here's the thing I think that the whole death battle was just a trap to get Bill back in the nightmare realm, neither can really die only trap so Discord just annoyed him to to the point that Bill really wanted to kill him getting tunnel vision which is what Discord wanted because it made it easy to trap Bill back int the nightmare realm so in other words Discord let Bill win giving him a hollow victory. they even stated that Discord can travel through time meaning it didn't matter how long it took Discord to reform after death because he can always come back just before he died and continue the fight but since neither can really kill the other Discord settle for trapping him and having the last laugh.

Am I the only one who knows Bill’s eye is a major weak point. When the Shacktron yanks his eye out Bill was like, “Ah, my eye. Do you have any idea how long that takes to regenerate!” And I don’t think he did much of anything until his eye regenerated. Bill Cipher can't actually destroy Souls. He attacked Dipper and Mabel's mind and blew a whole through Dippers chest. If it was in fact their souls, wouldn't Dipper be dead and Stanley would be dead if it was his soul. And Discord can straight-up hypnotized bill and make him forget sertin abilities such as to seeing the future and to see all possibilities. Discord the can even cover himself completely in unicorn hair. sure it won't get rid of Bill's powers, but it would make it impossible for Bill to attack Discord. And I do believe Discord in fact would take the fight seriously, considering the times he was defeated to weaker beings that he had no fear in losing to he was taken by surprise. But he would take Bill seriously knowing that he is an extremely powerful being with the possibility destroy the universe, so I do believe Discord would take him seriously. But that wouldn't even matter because Discord could beat a being that was just as powerful as himself and that being could destroy multiverses, while Bill on the other hand can only destroy one universe one at a time. And my final reasoning for why Discord wins this battle is because it is shown in the My Little Pony show that Discord can survive only off of Chaos. And him fighting an opponent like Bill who caused chaos 24/7 is just going to keep Discord alive. And that is my reasoning to why I believe this Death battle is rigged.

But Discord was never tricked by Tirek like how Death Battle claims, Discord even confirms to have set up challenges for them in the past and worked as a safety net cause he wanted to test Twilight. The idea of Discord testing the main cast is brought up numerous times throughout the series, it's even shown that Tirek can only use Discords magic and have control over it if Discord changes it into something Tirek can manage, which he obviously did in S4 or Tirek would have gone insane from the chaos magic which he himself admitted he can't control. Always annoys me when people scale Tirek to Discord when his scaling is far lower and far worse.

Also another thing that proves Death battle didn't really do their research on the Discord side of things here is the Pony of Shadows statement isn't really a multiverse statement and isn't really supposed to be interpreted as one. He says that he's going to make every world as dead as his own, but his universe still exists, just that everyone in it is dead. There are of course actual multiverse feats to bring up, such as: 1: Luna being able to control the dreamscape 2: Discord being able to change his entire dream world into an office when he became Accord 3: Cosmos warping all of limbo, etc Another important note on Discord as a character (assuming we use the set up of the fight as reference) is Discord becomes far more serious when Fluttershy is in danger, which has been shown in the show as well. So if Bill hurt Bill and it was clear his friends couldn't defeat him (even though they honestly could) Discord would step in and he would try.
