Just for reference in game 1, a Space Insulator that was reborn with its own effect can't be used as Link material, so killing it wasn't removing material from Gage's board. Crashing Insect Knight into Knightmare Phoenix would've made Gage unable to summon Borrelsword Dragon. Also, Destrudo is once per turn, not once per duel.

Ppl are pointing out gage punted game 1 cuz he thought destrudo was once per duel, HOWEVER cimo actually punted first. When cimo normalled insect knight, he should've linked into imduk of the world chalice. Then summon doom dozer, banish resonance, send gokipole, special a a vanilla, clear one of the links on cimo's field (that imduk does not point to in this scenario). Then go bp, attack with imduk on the link monster it points to, use imduk's effect to destroy the monster, then attack with dozer and the vanilla from gokipole for game since gage had paid half his life for destrudo already. Ps. I think Gage also punted game 2, idk the exact line but he definitely had the matieral to go for borrelsword and link climb enough to put enough damage, he just made the mistake of linking of mali too early so he couldn't abuse lvl Eater too much.
