I cannot express how much this is blessing me tonight. I found this by searching. I am one who was raised in a Baptist church ...learned all about the Bible, God and Jesus, and encouraged to make my "Profession of Faith'' at age 9. Well, at age 9, I had no idea what I had done so wrong as to deserve hell, but I publically accepted Christ. This, to me, has little to do with being Born Again. Yes, I am eternally grateful that I was raised in a Godly, Christian home, but I was not truly Born Again...a life-changing, Jesus and Holy Spirit-filled experience, until about 5 years ago. I will be 59 May 4th. There is a world of difference between knowing ABOUT the Bible, and my Heavenly Father, and my Savior Jesus, and KNOWING them PERSONALLY...a TRUE PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP. Again, I am so blessed by this...THANK YOU

I grew up basically in church also and only started understanding stuff at 30 something. We take it for granted and never actually study the Bible.

Allow God's words ❤ in Christ to saturate our minds in Christ and trust God😊100%❤ by His good Holy Spirit too love God( or Jesus😊1st❤( John 10:30) and help others to grows in Christ. As many as seven times?" 22 Jesus(😊1st❤ ) said to him, " I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times."( Matthew 18:21-22 ESV Study Bible) ( According the my ESV Study Bible, on background information within Matthew 18:21-22, the phase from Matthew 18:21b "...how often (will my brother sin against me, and) I forgive him?" Piper is an excellent pastor, but like others pastors, have to say that the Bible is the word of God, other way they may lose confidence, their job could be compromised. Then, why in Matthew 23 was Jesus against scribes and Pharisees? Was Jesus correcting the word of God? Nooooo, Jesus was against scribes and Pharisees because they modified the Scriptures. That is why many people ask, why does the God in OT is so different than the God in NT? It was modified in favor of Zionism, many parts of OT are diabolic.
