So how did her son wind up in Arabia, Iraq or Jordan? I think the whole Ishmael/Arab muslim connection is made up to give Islam a connection to Abraham so it could claim to be the final revelation after Judaism and Christianity. It is far more likely that certain tribes in these countries were once Jewish and converted to Islam to avoid paying the jizya and/or getting slaughtered by the invading Arabs.

You know, Saudi Arabia have so much power and authority in the middle East in which if they want, they can give back the lands of Phoenicia, Canaan, Judea, Samria, Reuban, Gad, Manasseh and Aram back to Israel. The Ancient Greeks initially had the land of Canaan and Phoenicia (now modern Lebanon and some parts of Syria). As part of the deal, the Greeks gave the land of both Phoenicia and Canaan to the Israelites before those Mongols savagely took the areas of Mesopotamia, Near East, Persia, Constantinople and the Levant to be part of their Empire. A Pal state would immediately attack Israel and the Pals have repeatedly said they don't want a state -- they just want Israel destroyed.
