I think this video has highlighted just how bad the situation is. People spend their entire lives trying to get as far away from each other as possible, they are never going to do anything that might require interaction with another.

It depends who ends up being monarch though. A belevolent king could die and be succeeded by a bastard as crazy as Kim Jong Un.

Well with the solar impacts and the high strangeness, there might not be any electricity at some point, which will mean that facebook will have to become clockwork, with a key to wind up the spring. Mobile phones will have to become clockwork with a large horn so that sound can be propagated in a specific direction, and the npc's won't even notice.

As a Canadian I see the only way for Britain to get out of it's political quandary is to first stop supporting the monarchy and then rework the parliament. Canada needs to do the same thing.

There's no democratic way of getting rid of the monarchy. Even if we did we'd have a presidency, and there are cons as well as pros there. It's hard to know if it would improve anything.
